    • Notches two more thefts
Acuna went 1-for-4 with a pair of stolen bases Monday in a loss to the Mariners.

Advice: Acuna's wheels were key in the production of Atlanta's only run, as the star outfielder began the seventh inning by reaching on an infield single, subsequently stole both second and third base, and came around to score on an Ozzie Albies double. Acuna also struck out three times in the contest, and he's now fanned multiple times in three straight games, but fantasy managers are likely to mostly ignore that as long as he continues to run wild on the basepaths. Acuna began the campaign with just one steal through his first nine games, but he's since racked up 12 steals over his subsequent 18 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:53 pm
    • Carlos Estévez gives up run, earns save anyway
Carlos Estévez got a save despite allowing a run in the ninth Monday against the Phillies.

Advice: Estévez gave up a single, a double and a sac fly before finishing off the Phillies tonight. His stuff is worse than it was last year, and we wouldn’t expect much help in ERA and WHIP here. Still, with Robert Stephenson down for the year and José Soriano in the rotation, his closing gig is very secure. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:21 pm
    • Avoids blown save
Estevez allowed a run on two hits in one inning Monday. He struck out one batter and earned a save over the Phillies.

Advice: Estevez entered a 6-4 game and found himself in a jam with two on and one out. He gave up one run but still preserved the 6-5 victory. Estevez has converted five of his six save chances this season but has coughed up three runs in his last three appearances. Before that, he had a five-inning scoreless streak to open the 2024 campaign. Estevez owns a 3.38 ERA with a perfect 8:0 K:BB through eight innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:41 pm
    • Ronald Acuña Jr. steal two bags against Mariners
Ronald Acuña Jr. stole two bases and scored a run in a loss to the Mariners on Monday.

Advice: After breaking up Bryce Miller’s no-hitter, Acuña swiped second base to get into scoring position, and then took advantage of Seattle not paying attention by getting to third. He scored what looked to be the go-ahead run on a double from Ozzie Albies, but the Mariners were able to score two in the ninth to get the win. With the pair of thefts, Acuña is up to 13 stolen bases in the first month of action. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:15 pm
    • Productive in big win
Abrams went 1-for-3 with two walks, a two-run home run, a second run scored and a stolen base in Monday's 7-2 win over the Marlins.

Advice: The 23-year-old shortstop was once again the engine of the Nationals' offense from the leadoff spot, as Abrams took Trevor Rogers deep in the third inning then teamed up with Jacob Young for a double steal in the fifth. Abrams has reached base safely in 15 straight games, and on the season he's slashing .297/.377/.634 with seven homers, six stolen bases, 17 RBI and 21 runs in 25 contests. • CJ Abrams blasts two-run homer in win versus MIA
CJ Abrams went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and two walks in a 7-2 win against the Marlins on Monday.

Advice: The 23-year-old continues to have a solid season slashing .300/.381/.640 with seven home runs and 16 RBI. His two-run home run came in the third inning as Trevor Rogers left a fastball right down the center of the plate and Abrams did not miss. There was a lot of discussion if Abrams’ 2023 season was a bit of beginner’s luck, but the Nats’ shortstop is showing that last season was not a one-off. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:06 pm

    • In line to be activated Tuesday
Twins manager Rocco Baldelli said that Duran (oblique) will likely be activated from the 15-day injured list Tuesday, Bobby Nightengale of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Advice: Duran has rejoined the Twins in Chicago following a pair of minor-league rehab appearances. While he won't be activated prior to Monday's series opener versus the White Sox, Duran looks like he just needed one additional day of recovery after making his most recent rehab appearance Saturday. Baldelli didn't say whether Duran would immediately regain his closer job or be eased back in upon his reinstatement, but fantasy managers should probably go ahead and activate the hard thrower for this week so as not to miss out on any potential saves he might net. • Jhoan Duran (oblique) could return Tuesday for MIN
Jhoan Duran (oblique) is with the Twins in Chicago and could be activated off the injured list Tuesday.

Advice: Duran has missed all of 2024 because of his oblique injury, but he’s been able to make rehab appearances, and if everything goes well, the 26-year-old will be a welcome addition to the Minnesota bullpen. Once active, it seems likely Duran will see the majority of save chances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:43 pm

    • Activation imminent
Duran (oblique) is with the Twins in Chicago for their series against the White Sox and his activation from the 15-day injured list appears imminent, Bobby Nightengale of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Advice: There's no word on Duran possibly being activated Monday, but it sounds like he should join the roster at some point during the series. The closer has been out all season with a right oblique strain but is ready to roll after making two rehab appearances. It's possible manager Rocco Baldelli will want to see Duran in a low-leverage spot or two initially, but it shouldn't be long before he's closing again for the Twins. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:31 pm
