    • TJ Friedl out Tuesday with hamstring injury
TJ Friedl (hamstring) is absent from the lineup for Tuesday’s showdown against the Pirates.

Advice: No surprise here after Friedl was forced to leave Monday’s series opener with right hamstring tightness following a stellar defensive play in center field. The 28-year-old outfielder had started 17 consecutive contests since returning from the injured list back on May 29. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. There’s optimism he’ll avoid a trip to the injured list, but that could change if he’s not ready to return in a couple days. Rotoworld Today, 12:58 pm
    • Idle Tuesday
Mullins is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Yankees, Cordell Woodland of 105.7 The Fan Baltimore reports.

Advice: Mullins' playing time has fluctuated over the last few weeks, but he's now made five consecutive starts in center field and seems to have reclaimed a near-everyday gig. Still, Mullins will get the day off Tuesday, giving way to Colton Cowser in center. Rotowire.com Today, 12:31 pm

    • Idle Tuesday
Friedl (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: Friedl was removed from Monday's loss in the fifth inning after sustaining a hamstring injury. While it's only considered tightness, Friedl will be held out of Tuesday's lineup as Stuart Fairchild will bat leadoff and play center field instead. Friedl could return for Wednesday's series finale, but with a team day off Thursday, the Reds could opt to play it safe with the 28-year-old. Rotowire.com Today, 12:19 pm
    • Finding form
Chapman hit one batter and struck out one across a scoreless seventh inning to record a hold Monday against the Reds.

Advice: Chapman tallied his team-leading 13th hold. His numbers remain inflated after a shaky start to the season, but he's managed to turn in eight scoreless efforts in his last nine appearances. Chapman has still walked six batters across 8.2 innings in that span, but he has otherwise been effective. Rotowire.com Today, 7:40 am
    • Logs 13th save Monday
Estevez earned a save against the Brewers on Monday, striking out one batter in a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Estevez had little trouble protecting a two-run, ninth-inning lead, retiring the side in order on 13 pitches. The veteran reliever has turned things around after a rough middle portion of May -- he hasn't allowed a baserunner in seven straight outings, racking up six saves and a win during that span. As such, his hold on the Angels' closer role is, for now at least, very secure. Rotowire.com Today, 12:09 am
    • Carlos Estévez perfect in seventh straight outing
Carlos Estévez threw a scoreless ninth with a two-run lead for a save Monday against the Brewers.

Advice: It was Estévez’s seventh consecutive perfect inning, a stretch that’s lowered his ERA from 5.06 to 3.52. He still doesn’t seem like a great bet going forward, but he certainly has it working now. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:01 pm
    • Tagged with five runs
Kikuchi (4-6) allowed five runs on seven hits over four innings Monday, striking out seven and taking a loss against Boston.

Advice: Kikuchi was cursed by the long ball Monday, coughing up four solo shots in the first three innings. Tyler O'Neill accounted for two of them, including in the first inning when he went back-to-back with Rafael Devers. Kikuchi had allowed just four home runs over his previous six starts entering Monday and had not given up multiple long balls in any start this season. He's registered a 6.17 ERA over his last five starts, bumping his season ERA to 3.65 through 81.1 frames. Kikuchi's next start is projected to be in Cleveland. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:43 pm

    • Belts two homers
O'Neill went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs and a walk in Monday's win over Toronto.

Advice: O'Neill hit two of Boston's four home runs for his first multi-homer game since April 5. He's up to 14 long balls this season, but just six of those have come since the start of May. The slugging outfielder is slashing .258/.354/.534 with 25 RBI through 206 plate appearances. O'Neill has gone 11-for-30 (.367) with five multi-hit performances in eight games this month. • O’Neill blasts two home runs against Jays Monday
Tyler O’Neill went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs against the Blue Jays on Monday.

Advice: O’Neill’s two home runs give him 14 on the season. He took Toronto starter Yusei Kikuchi deep in the first inning and again in the third inning. O’Neill was the designated hitter on Monday, but seems to be over his knee discomfort. He’s hitting .258 with an .888 OPS and 25 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:13 pm
