    • Goes seven strong
Nola (6-2) picked up the win Sunday against the Nationals, allowing three runs (two earned) on two hits and three walks across seven innings. He struck out five.

Advice: Nola completed at least seven innings for the fifth time in his last seven starts -- including a complete game shutout in his last appearance. Although the 31-year-old generated a quality start, he struggled with the long ball, as he allowed a two-run homer to Eddie Rosario in the fourth and a solo home run to Jesse Winker in the fifth. Nola hadn't yielded a homer in three straight starts before Sunday. He's lined up for a trip to Coors Field for a start Saturday. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:21 pm

    • Jordan Montgomery allows four runs in no-decision
Jordan Montgomery pitched decently in a no-decision against the Tigers on Sunday afternoon, giving up four runs on five hits over his six-plus innings of work.

Advice: The left-hander struck out three batters on the afternoon while issuing a pair of free passes. He served up a solo homer to Spencer Torkelson in the third inning, then kept the Tigers at bat until an RBI single by Javier Baez in the fifth. They tacked on another run in the sixth inning, then Montgomery issued a leadoff walk in the seventh before exiting, and that run came around to score as well. He got eight whiffs on 92 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of 25 percent. He’ll look to improve upon his 4.98 ERA and 1.37 WHIP when he toes the slab against the Marlins on Saturday. • Aaron Nola goes seven in victory over Nationals
Aaron Nola lasted seven innings and allowed three runs Sunday in beating the Nationals.

Advice: A strong follow-up to his shutout of the Mets, Nola gave up just two hits, which were homers to Eddie Rosario and Jesse Winker. He’s completed seven innings in five of his last seven starts, and he’s 6-2 with a 3.05 ERA for the season. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:20 pm

    • Sean Manaea wins, strikes out four
Sean Manaea allowed two earned runs across five innings on Sunday. He struck out four, walked one, and got the win.

Advice: This was a very Manaea start, going five frames, missing bats, and limiting damage. He’s been very solid this season with a 3.11 ERA and three wins in nine starts. Walks have been an issue for him, but not on Sunday. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:02 pm

    • Jhoan Duran takes loss against Guardians
Jhoan Duran allowed a walk-off, three-run homer to Will Brennan on Sunday. He also walked two.

Advice: Duran administered free passes to Andrés Giménez and Josh Naylor before Will Brennan barely cleared the right field fence to win the game. That one home run ballooned Duran’s ERA from 1.13 to 4.15. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:16 pm

    • Throws from Dodger Stadium mound
Kershaw (shoulder) threw a bullpen session on the field at Dodger Stadium on Saturday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Kershaw has thrown multiple bullpens in recent weeks, though this was the first one that took place on the field. The left-hander is building back up slowly from offseason shoulder surgery and isn't expected to be ready to join Los Angeles until at least mid-July. When Kershaw does return, it's unclear how the Dodgers will adjust their rotation given that back-end starters James Paxton and Gavin Stone have both been pitching relatively well. • Stuck with loss Saturday
Cano (2-2) allowed two runs on two hits in one-third of an inning to take the loss Saturday versus the Mariners.

Advice: Cano allowed the first two batters to reach base in the eighth inning, giving up one run in the process. Cionel Perez also allowed an inherited runner to score, and the Orioles couldn't overcome the deficit. This is the first time Cano has given up multiple earned runs in an appearance all season, and just the second time he's given up more than one run of any kind. He's now at a 2.95 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 18:9 K:BB while adding two saves and 10 holds over 21.1 innings. The late-inning mix in Baltimore remains in flux, and Cano isn't doing himself any favors with three runs allowed over his last 1.1 innings across three appearances. • Tosses quality start Saturday
Gausman came away with a no-decision in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Rays, giving up three runs on eight hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out six.

Advice: The veteran right-hander cruised through five innings before running into trouble in the sixth and allowing all three of his runs. It was a solid bounce-back effort for Gausman after he got tagged for seven runs (six earned) in his last outing, and the quality start was his third of the season. He'll take a 4.89 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 43:11 K:BB through 42.1 innings into his next start, which lines up to come on the road next week in Detroit. Rotowire.com Saturday, 6:34 pm

    • Kevin Gausman goes six innings in no-decision
Kevin Gausman allowed three runs with six strikeouts over six innings in a no-decision against the Rays on Saturday.

Advice: Gausman had worked around four hits through five scoreless frames before the Rays would get to him in the sixth. Two base hits and a walk would load the bases with two outs. Amed Rosario knocked a single to plate two runs. José Caballero followed with a single to bring in one more before Gausman got out of the inning. He struck out six. The 33-year-old right-hander will take a 4.89 ERA, 1.51 WHIP, and a 43/11 K/BB ratio across 42 1/3 innings into a start against the Tigers in Detroit on Thursday. Rotoworld Saturday, 2:56 pm
