    • Escapes with 15th save
Hader picked up the save in Friday's 13-12 win against the Twins. He faced two batters, allowing one run on one hit while striking out one.

Advice: Hader likely didn't expect to enter Friday's contest as the Astros held a 13-5 lead entering the ninth. However, Luis Contreras allowed three runs and then loaded the bases, forcing the call to the Houston closer. Hader allowed a grand slam to Carlos Correa to bring the Twins within one before fanning Manuel Margot for his 15th save of the campaign. The Houston southpaw now sports a 3.92 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 61:11 K:BB across 39 total innings while going 15-for-16 in save chances. Rotowire.com 9 minutes ago

    • Sets franchise record in loss
Miranda went 4-for-4 with a homer, a double, two RBI and three runs scored in Friday's 13-12 loss to the Astros.

Advice: Miranda came a triple shy of the cycle and set a Twins franchise record in the seventh inning by tallying his 10th consecutive plate appearance with a hit. The 26-year-old launched a 414-foot solo shot off Shawn Dubin earlier in the game for his ninth homer of the season. Miranda now sports a nine-game hit streak over which he's batted an absurd .559 (19-for-34) with seven extra base hits, 12 RBI and 11 runs scored. Rotowire.com 38 minutes ago

    • Tanner Houck erratic, pulled in fourth inning
Tanner Houck allowed three runs, one earned, over 3 1/3 innings on Friday against the Yankees. He walked four batters and struck out just one in a no-decision.

Advice: A 45 minute rain delay early in this game made this start a bit wonky. Houck cruised through the first two innings before the storm and lost his touch afterwards. The three runs off him came on a fielder’s choice with an error, walk, and ground out. It’s been a rough few weeks for Houck relative to his early-season prowess, but this outing was more weird than outright bad. Rotoworld Today, 8:05 pm
    • Jeff Hoffman secures eighth save
Jeff Hoffman pitched a clean ninth inning on Friday against the Braves to earn the save. He also struck out a batter.

Advice: Hoffman could be inching his way ahead of José Alvarado in the Phillies’ bullpen pecking order. Alvarado got the eighth inning in this one with a five-run lead. That came against the top of the Braves’ lineup and Marcell Ozuna wound up taking him deep to cut the lead to two. Hoffman closed it out in the ninth inning and now has three saves in his last three appearances. Rotoworld Today, 7:49 pm
    • Ozzie Albies with three hits, homer in loss
Ozzie Albies went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and three runs scored on Friday against the Phillies.

Advice: Albies was part of every Braves’ scoring play in this one as he came around to score on both Austin Riley and Marcell Ozuna’s home runs while contributing a solo shot of his own. He’s begun heating up of late and is riding an eight-game hitting streak. Rotoworld Today, 7:49 pm

    • Homers, scores three runs
Albies went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and three runs scored in Friday's loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Albies singled and scored in the fourth and eighth innings, sandwiched around his solo shot in the sixth. He snapped a 12-game homerless drought and delivered his first three-hit day since June 13. Since the start of June, Albies has gone 31-for-128 (.242) with 18 runs scored in 31 games. His season slash line is sitting at .263/.318/.413 with 32 extra-base hits this season. Rotowire.com Today, 7:46 pm

    • Secures eighth save
Hoffman struck out one batter in a scoreless ninth inning and earned a save over Atlanta.

Advice: Hoffman threw nine of 14 pitches for strikes to close out the 8-6 win. He's picked up saves in three straight appearances and has converted six straight chances dating back to May 17. Hoffman now owns a stellar 1.21 ERA with a 47:8 K:BB through 37.1 frames. Jose Alvarado took the mound in the eighth inning of what appeared to be a blowout win but gave up a three-run homer to Marcell Ozuna. Rotowire.com Today, 7:40 pm
    • Making rehab appearance Saturday
Garcia (elbow) will pitch for Triple-A Buffalo on Saturday, Kaitlyn McGrath of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Garcia isn't expected to require more than two rehab appearances, with Saturday's outing his first with Buffalo. With Jordan Romano (elbow) out for the foreseeable future, Garcia could step into the Blue Jays' closing role once activated from the IL. Rotowire.com Today, 5:03 pm

    • Idle vs. southpaw
O'Hearn is not in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener against the Athletics.

Advice: O'Hearn will retreat to the bench Friday with Oakland sending southpaw Hogan Harris to the mound. O'Hearn is coming off an 0-for-4 effort with two strikeouts in Thursday's 7-3 loss to the Mariners, but since June 1 he is slashing .326/.381/.516 with four home runs and 19 RBI over 95 at-bats. Adley Rutschman will serve as the designated hitter Friday and bat second. Rotowire.com Today, 4:16 pm
