    • Bat remains hot
Bregman went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run Sunday against the Twins.

Advice: Bregman is starting to heat up, collecting his fourth homer in six games along with adding his fifth multi-hit effort over the last eight. Sunday's performance lifted Bregman's slash line to .229/.287/.395 while during this recent eight-game run he's batting 12-for-32 (.375) with four homers, seven RBI and five runs scored. • Brayan Bello falters late in no-decision
Brayan Bello was charged with four runs in 6 1/3 innings Sunday in a no-decision against the Tigers.

Advice: This one is on Alex Cora, who sent Bello back out for the seventh to face the top of the lineup for a fourth time even though he had given up runs in the fifth and sixth innings. Bello surrendered hits to two of the three batters he faced before being pulled, and Justin Slaten allowed both runners to score afterwards. Bello remains 6-2 with a 4.36 ERA. • Not yet swinging
Muncy (oblique) said Sunday he's been shut down from swinging for the past 7-to-10 days after he felt a "twinge" around his rib cage, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Advice: The 33-year-old landed on the injured list in mid-May with the oblique strain and doesn't appear to have made significant progress in his recovery. Per David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports, Muncy was able to field groundballs Sunday but is shut down from most baseball activities, so he's likely not particularly close to returning from the 10-day injured list. • Charlie Morton effective but wild in no-decision
Charlie Morton held the Athletics scoreless over six innings on Sunday. He allowed just one hit along with five walks and six strikeouts in a no-decision.

Advice: Poor command pushed Morton’s pitch count up in what was otherwise a fantastic outing. This was the sixth straight start in which Morton decreased the usage of his fastball and Sunday marked a season-low at 15%. In turn, he turned to more changeups which the Athletics couldn’t square up, but Morton also struggled to find the zone with it at times. Still, the 40-year-old continues to prove he’s a viable starter. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:24 pm
    • Getting rest Sunday
Diaz is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: Diaz will receive a breather for the series finale in Los Angeles after he had started at catcher or designated hitter in each of the Rockies' previous six games. Jacob Stallings will handle catching duties Sunday in Diaz's stead. Rotowire.com Sunday, 12:46 pm

    • Still no timetable for Muncy’s (oblique) return
Max Muncy (oblique) told reporters Sunday that he remains without a timetable to return to the Dodgers.

Advice: Muncy felt something while swinging a bat around a week ago and has been shut down from all baseball activities. The 33-year-old has been on the injured list with an oblique strain May 17 with some hope that it’d be a short-term stint, but obviously that wasn’t/isn’t the case. Stay tuned for further updates on Muncy’s status to get a better idea of when the slugger could return. Rotoworld Sunday, 11:29 am

    • On bench versus lefty
Busch is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.

Advice: It's the third straight game on the bench for the 26-year-old, and this time it comes as lefty Nick Lodolo takes the mound for the Reds. Busch had a hot start to the campaign with a 1.062 OPS in his first 19 contests, but he has a .186/.292/.314 slash line and 38.3 percent strikeout rate in his past 35 games. Patrick Wisdom will start at first base Sunday for the Cubs. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:50 am

    • Three-hit night in rout
Rodriguez went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI singles and a run in a win over the Angels on Saturday.

Advice: Teammates J.P. Crawford and Luke Raley connected for big blasts, but Rodriguez took a peskier approach with his constant presence on the basepaths. The star outfielder brought home Ryan Bliss in both the third and sixth innings via timely singles, and Rodriguez eventually also crossed the plate with the final run of the night following the latter knock. Rodriguez now has three multi-RBI tallies in the last seven games, a stretch during which he's also recorded four multi-hit efforts and posted a .429 average (12-for-28). Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:42 am
    • Keys victory with grand slam
Crawford went 1-for-4 with a grand slam and a walk in Saturday's 9-0 win over the Angels.

Advice: The Mariners held a narrow 1-0 lead before Crawford broke things open with his fourth-inning grand slam. It was the fourth grand slam of his career and his fourth homer for Seattle this season. Each of Crawford's past four hits have gone for extra bases (three doubles, one homer).
