    • Records steal in win
Freeman went 1-for-2 with a double, a walk, two hit-by-pitches, a stolen base and one run scored in Tuesday's 7-4 win over the Rangers.

Advice: That's a hard way to get on base four times, but it worked well to set the table for the Guardians. Freeman is still not hitting all that well -- he's batting .167 over 12 games in May, dropping his season average to .193 through 37 contests. He's made up for it with a passable .307 on-base percentage and 9.2 percent walk rate. The 24-year-old has added five steals, four home runs, 13 RBI, 21 runs scored and six doubles through 141 plate appearances. Manager Stephen Vogt is still trying to figure out who will fit best at leadoff while Steven Kwan (hamstring) is out, and Freeman is in the mix, having hit atop the order in each of the last three games. • Goes yard in Tuesday's win
McMahon went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Padres.

Advice: McMahon got the scoring going for the Rockies with a solo blast to right center off Dylan Cease in the fourth. It was his second home run this month and his first since May 3. He's now rocking a four-game hit streak with multiple hits in two of those while only striking out once over that span. McMahon has been one of the most consistent hitters in their lineup so far this year, slashing .308/.389/.481 with six homers, 22 RBI, 18 runs and a 22:50 BB:K in 180 plate appearances. • In lineup as DH on Tuesday
Morel (toe) will start at designated hitter and bat cleanup in Tuesday's game in Atlanta.

Advice: Morel had to exit Monday's contest after fouling a ball off his left foot, but he's fine. It's his first start at DH in more than a week, which will free up third base for Patrick Wisdom on Tuesday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:49 pm

    • Exits with toe injury
Morel left Monday's game against Atlanta after fouling a ball off his left foot, and he's been diagnosed with a left toe injury, Maddie Lee of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Advice: Morel is reportedly dealing with bumps and bruises, per Lee, so this appears to be a day-to-day type of injury. The Cubs should know more about his availability for the rest of the week after re-evaluating him Tuesday. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:25 pm

    • Christopher Morel exits with toe bruise
Christopher Morel exited Monday’s game because of a toe injury, the result of fouling a ball off his foot.

Advice: No word yet on whether he’ll be getting X-rays. Morel is also playing through some knee soreness in his other leg, so maybe he’ll DH if he plays Tuesday. Rotoworld Monday, 7:21 pm

    • Sitting out series opener
Paredes is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Red Sox.

Advice: Paredes was hit in the helmet by a pitch in the seventh inning of Sunday's 10-6 loss to the Yankees, but he stayed in the game after being checked out. His absence from the lineup a day later may create some level of concern about his health, but Paredes could just be receiving a maintenance day after he had started in each of the Rays' last nine games. Amed Rosario will replace Paredes at the hot corner Monday, and for now, the expectation is that Paredes will be back in the lineup Tuesday. Rotowire.com Monday, 1:48 pm

    • Christopher Morel (knee) back in lineup Sunday
Christopher Morel (knee) is hitting fifth and playing third base against the Pirates.

Advice: Morel left Saturday’s game with right knee soreness, but it was purely precautionary, and he’ll get the start against the Bucs on Sunday. Morel has played relatively well in May with four homers, but his .220 average on the season is a bit of a disappointment. Rotoworld Sunday, 8:20 am

    • Back in action Sunday
Morel (knee) will start at third base and bat cleanup Sunday against the Pirates.

Advice: Morel exited in the fifth inning of Saturday's 10-9 loss to Pittsburgh with right knee soreness after he appeared to get hurt on a stolen base attempt in the top of the third. The injury looks to be a minor one, however, given that the 24-year-old is back in the lineup a day later. Morel has gone 8-for-34 with four home runs, 11 RBI and two stolen bases in May. • Ryan McMahon powers Rockies to win over Rangers
Ryan McMahon went 4-for-5 with an RBI on Saturday, leading the Rockies to an 8-3 win over the Rangers.

Advice: McMahon served as Colorado’s primary offensive catalyst in this one, kicking off a six-run outburst in the seventh inning with an RBI single off Rangers reliever David Robertson. The 29-year-old corner infielder has been a steady, yet unspectacular, fantasy contributor for a couple seasons now. He’s off to a really nice start this year, batting .303/.391/.462 with 16 runs scored, five homers and 21 RBI through 170 plate appearances in 39 games. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:54 am
