    • On cusp of rehab assignment
Langford (hamstring) is expected to begin a minor-league rehab assignment as soon as Friday, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Advice: The 22-year-old has been sidelined nearly three weeks by a strained hamstring but is in the latter stages of his rehab program. Assuming Langford is able to get in a couple games this weekend, he could rejoin the Rangers for the upcoming two-game series versus the Diamondbacks, which begins Tuesday. • Stays hot in Thursday's win
Bichette went 3-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI in Thursday's win over the Tigers.

Advice: All three knocks were singles, but they continued a hot streak for Bichette that has seen him reel off multiple hits in three of the last four games and five of the last nine. Since May 8, the All-Star shortstop is slashing .380/.426/.580 with four doubles, two homers, one steal, six runs and nine RBI in 13 contests. Rotowire.com Today, 7:41 am

    • Four hits in win
Mountcastle went 4-for-5 with a double and two runs scored in Thursday's win over the White Sox.

Advice: Mountcastle recorded hits in each of his first four at-bats, marking only the second time this month in which he's scored two runs in a contest. The first baseman saw his batting average jump 16 points with his fourth multi-hit performance this month, though he hasn't driven in a run since May 8. Mountcastle is also yet to draw a walk in May while striking out 17 times. Rotowire.com Today, 7:31 am

    • Double, homer in win
Guerrero went 2-for-5 with a double, a two-run home run and two runs scored in Thursday's win over the Tigers.

Advice: Guerrero went hitless in his first three at-bats before sending Danny Jansen to third with a double in the top of the eighth inning. The first baseman wasn't done there, however, adding a two-run homer in the following frame as the Blue Jays blew out the Tigers 9-1. It marked Guerrero's seventh multi-hit game this month, and he's batting .371 in May with two homers, 13 RBI and 12 runs scored. The long ball was his first since May 5 against the Nationals. • Mountcastle has four-hit game Thursday
Ryan Mountcastle went 4-for-5 with a double and two runs scored against the White Sox on Thursday.

Advice: Mountcastle scored on Jorge Mateo’s three-run home run in the fourth inning and on an Adley Rutschman home run in the sixth inning. The four hits marked a nice bounce back game for Mountcastle, who had been slumping. The Orioles have a deep group of hitters to choose from, but he should stay in the lineup as long as he continues to hit.

    • Guerrero Jr. hits fifth home run Thursday
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 2-for-5 with a double, two runs scored and a two-run home run against the Tigers on Thursday.

Advice: Guerrero Jr. scored on a Justin Turner double in the eighth inning and then homered in a 7-1 game in the ninth. The home run was his fifth of the season and he now has 24 RBI. Guerrero Jr. is up to .282 with a .799 OPS this year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:26 pm
    • Takes no-decision
Montas allowed four runs on nine hits and a walk while striking out three over six innings in a no-decision versus the Padres on Thursday.

Advice: Montas has allowed 12 runs (11 earned) across 15.2 innings over his last three starts, though he's avoided taking a loss in any of those games. The Padres got to him early Thursday before he bounced back and finished strong. The right-hander is at a 4.61 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 28:16 K:BB over 41 innings across nine starts this season. Montas is projected to make his next start at home versus the Cardinals. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:00 pm
    • Frankie Montas surrenders four runs vs. Padres
Frankie Montas was charged with four runs in six innings in a no-decision against the Padres on Thursday.

Advice: This could have gone a lot worse. Montas gave up all four runs in the first two innings, but he was effective enough to give Cincinnati — and fantasy managers — six innings despite allowing nine hits in the contest. The right-hander has been shaky at best for Cincinnati over the first third of the season with a 4.64 ERA over nine starts as evidence. He’ll try and lower that mark next week against the Cardinals. • Not starting Thursday
Turner isn't in Toronto's lineup for Thursday's game against the Tigers.

Advice: Turner will get a breather Thursday after reaching base three times during Wednesday's win over the White Sox. Daniel Vogelbach will fill in as the Jays' DH and bat fifth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:05 pm
