      Gabriel Moreno (thumb) could be activated off the injured list as as soon as Tuesday, Jody Jackson of the Diamondbacks reports.

      Advice: Moreno was placed on the injured list last Saturday with a sprained left thumb, and he’ll be eligible for activation Tuesday.       Advice: Buxton doubled home Carlos Santana with two outs in the fourth to put Minnesota on top 2-1 and later added a three-run shot in the sixth to extend the lead, giving him his fourth home run in his last five games.       Advice: Ohtani took Spencer Howard deep in the top of the third to give the Dodgers a 2-1 lead and later came around to score for a second time in the 11th after drawing a leadoff walk. The slugger is now up to 12 homers in the month of June, with nine of them coming over his last 12 games.       Jung will visit a specialist Monday for evaluation of his surgically repaired right wrist, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: The Rangers pulled back on Jung's hitting progression Saturday for a second time this week. "A couple of days ago he was feeling really good," Texas manager Bruce Bochy said. "We were optimistic he would be swinging [Saturday]. There is still just a little soreness in there. We want to get rid of that before we ramp him up again." The team had prepared for Jung's return this week, but depending on how Monday's visit goes, he may not be ready until after the All-Star break.
