      Josh Bell went 2-for-4 with a game-winning RBI single on Monday, leading the Marlins to a 3-2 walk-off victory over the Brewers in a 10-inning marathon.

      Advice: Bell sent the Marlins faithful home in winning fashion with a sharp ground-ball single to right field in the 10th inning after Miami rallied in the previous frame to send the contest to extra innings.     • Homers again in Sunday's loss
      Torkelson went 1-for-4 with a solo homer and two runs scored in Sunday's 6-4 loss to the Diamondbacks.

      Advice: Torkelson got the Tigers on the board with a solo blast to center off Jordan Montgomery in the third inning and later scored once more after reaching on a fielder's choice. After not homering in his first 37 games of the season, Torkelson now has three home runs in his last seven games and seems to finally be heating up after a slow start to the year. The 24-year-old also has at least a hit in 12 of 13 games dating back to May 5 and is now slashing .227/.291/.360 with 17 RBI, 21 runs and a 13:43 BB:K in 189 plate appearances.     • Spencer Torkelson goes deep in loss to D’Backs
      Spencer Torkelson clubbed his third home run of the season on Sunday afternoon, but it wasn’t enough to power the Tigers past the Diamondbacks in Arizona.

      Advice: The 24-year-old slugger got the Tigers on the board in the third inning, crushing a 428-foot (106.5 mph EV) solo shot off of Jordan Montgomery in the third inning. He also reached on a fielder’s choice in the seventh inning and scored on an RBI triple off the bat of Kerry Carpenter that was nearly an inside-the-park home run.       Bell went 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBI in Saturday's 10-9 victory over the Mets in 10 innings.

      Advice: Bell had two singles -- including one that drove in a run -- when he strolled to the plate in the bottom of the ninth inning to face Edwin Diaz as the tying run. He then swatted one 428 feet for a three-run home run to knot things up before the Marlins eventually won in the 10th. Bell's home run -- which was his sixth of the season -- was measured at 107.9 mph off the bat. The first baseman is 10-for-25 with two long balls over his last six games.       Josh Bell went 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBI against the Mets on Saturday.

      Advice: Bell blasted a game-tying three run home run in the ninth inning off the Mets’ Edwin Diaz. It was his sixth home run of the season. It was a good game, but Bell isn’t having a good season. Even with the home run, his .137 ISO is the lowest of his career.       Torkelson went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 6-5 win over the Marlins.

      Advice: After going the first 37 games of the season without launching any home runs, Torkelson has now blasted off in consecutive contests. Both home runs were two-run shots, and the 24-year-old could certainly keep it going, as he's shown the ability to hit long balls in bunches.       Spencer Torkelson slugged a go-ahead two-run homer on Monday, lifting the Tigers to a 6-5 victory over the Marlins.

      Advice: It was a big-time moment for Torkelson, who desperately needed one after a rocky few weeks to start to the year. The 24-year-old former first-overall pick connected for a go-ahead blast off Marlins reliever Anthony Maldonado in the eighth inning for just his second round-tripper of the season. It’s difficult to pinpoint the root of his struggles, especially since his plate skills have remained adequate, but he’s coming off a 31-homer campaign and should start hitting for more power once the weather warms up.       Torkelson went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 9-3 loss to the Astros.

      Advice: Torkelson finally broke through for his first home run of the 2024 season, launching a two-run shot off of Houston reliever Seth Martinez with two outs in the bottom of the ninth. After producing 31 home runs over 159 games in 2023, it took the first baseman 38 contests to go deep in 2024.       Bell went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run, two walks and two runs scored in Sunday's 7-6 extra-win over the Phillies.

      Advice: Bell was able to take Zack Wheeler deep for a three-run shot in the bottom of the third inning, giving the Marlins a 4-3 lead. The long ball was his fifth of the season and second of the month.
