      Advice: Lewis racked up three of the Twins' nine hits and accounted for their final run of the contest with a solo shot to left field in the fifth inning. The 25-year-old third baseman continues to swing a potent bat, as he's gone deep eight times across just 57 plate appearances this season.       Gausman (5-6) took the loss to the Red Sox on Wednesday, allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits and three walks with four strikeouts over 5.2 innings.

      Advice: Gausman allowed an unearned run in the third inning then surrendered solo home runs in the fourth and fifth. He was pulled after yielding an RBI single with two outs in the sixth and was charged with another run when an inherited runner scored on an RBI single off reliever Tim Mayza. Gausman only generated two swinging strikes on his splitter and has now allowed five or more runs in five of his 15 starts this season.       Royce Lewis clubbed his eighth home run of the season on Wednesday night, but it wasn’t enough for the Twins to overcome the Rays in extra innings.

      Advice: The 25-year-old superstar did his damage in the fifth inning, tagging Taj Bradley for a 410-foot (108.7 mph EV) solo shot that gave the Twins a 2-1 advantage. That would wind up being the extent of their offense. He also singled twice in the ballgame, finishing the night 3-for-4.       Advice: Gausman never looked comfortable in this one. He allowed his first run in the midst of a two-error inning and then labored until being pulled in the sixth inning. He threw far too many fastballs in the heart of the zone and couldn’t get the Red Sox to bite at his splitters. The shortstop is still off to a sluggish start overall with a .214 average and .660 OPS across 64 contests, though his recent form is indicative of the type of upside that Swanson possesses, giving him plenty of fantasy appeal moving forward.       Advice: Swanson went back-to-back with Ian Happ in the fourth inning and also added a pivotal two-run single in the seventh inning, which wound up being just enough for Chicago to edge San Francisco.
