    • Gausman allows one earned run in win over ChiSox
Kevin Gausman allowed one earned and four hits over six innings while earning the win on Tuesday against the White Sox.

Advice: Gausman didn’t face much resistance in this one, as the Blue Jays grabbed an early 3-0 lead in the second, which more or less put Gausman in cruise control against one of the league’s worst offenses. Gausman earned a win in three of his five stars this month, and will have a chance to start June off on a strong note when he makes his next scheduled start on Monday against the Orioles. • Snaps losing streak Monday
Miller (4-5) earned the win over Houston on Monday, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out six batters over six innings.

Advice: Miller came into the contest having lost three consecutive outings, during which he posted a 5.71 ERA. The right-hander bounced back with his sixth quality start of the season and his sixth outing with at least six strikeouts. Miller has posted a 3.48 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 62:18 K:BB through 64.2 innings on the campaign. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:28 pm

    • Bryce Miller strong for six to take down Astros
Bryce Miller pitched six innings of two-run ball for the win as the Mariners edged the Astros 3-2 on Monday.

Advice: Seattle got three in the bottom of the first and Houston scored twice in the fifth to account for all of the scoring. Miller was actually perfect through four before giving up four hits in the fifth and one more in the sixth. He struck out six. Miller had lost his last four decisions, including the last three starts in a row. He’s now 4-5 with a 3.48 ERA through 11 turns. Rotoworld Monday, 9:31 pm

    • Sharp outing against Yankees
Musgrove did not factor into the decision in Sunday's win over the Yankees, allowing one run on six hits and no walks while striking out five over 5.1 innings.

Advice: Musgrove blanked the Yankees through five before Juan Soto finally opened up the scoring with a one-out RBI double in the sixth that prompted Musgrove's exit after 87 pitches. Despite remaining winless since April 21, Sunday's start was an encouraging showing and one of Musgrove's best starts in what's been a tough season for him so far. The 31-year-old will carry a 5.66 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 44:15 K:BB (49.1 innings) into a road start against the Royals this weekend. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:12 am

    • Locks down save Sunday
Scott picked up the save Sunday in a 3-1 win over the Diamondbacks, throwing a perfect ninth while striking out a batter.

Advice: Scott faced no trouble from the Diamondback hitters Sunday. He sent them down in order on 15 pitches and struck out Eugenio Suarez to end the game. Scott has not allowed an earned run since April 14 and finished May with three wins, three saves and a hold in nine appearances. He's up to seven saves on the year now and carries a 1.64 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 23:18 K:BB in 22 innings. Rotowire.com Monday, 6:00 am

    • Blows save Sunday
Foley was charged with the blown save Sunday against the Blue Jays, allowing three earned runs on two hits and one walk in 0.2 innings of work.

Advice: The right-hander was called upon with one out in the eighth inning and two runners on base. He allowed a single and a walk before Daulton Varsho took him deep to give the Blue Jays a two run lead. Despite the rocky appearance, Foley should remain the Tigers' closer for the time being. He is now 11-for-13 in save chances this season with a 3.54 ERA. Rotowire.com Sunday, 4:41 pm

    • Joe Musgrove pitches well in no-decision vs. Yanks
Joe Musgrove looked sharp in a no-decision against the Yankees on Sunday afternoon, surrendering just one run on six hits over his 5 1/3 innings.

Advice: The 31-year-old hurler struck out five batters on the afternoon and didn’t issue a base on balls. He kept the Yankees off the board through the first five innings until Juan Soto broke through with a one-out RBI double in the sixth that chased Musgrove from the ballgame. The Padres would go on to score four times in their half of the sixth inning, but Musgrove wouldn’t benefit. He generated 10 swings and misses on 87 pitches on the day, registering a solid CSW of 29 percent. He’ll look to build off of this start as he carries a 5.66 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and a 44/15 K/BB ratio (49 1/3 innings) into Saturday’s start against the Royals in Kansas City. • Tanner Scott slams door on Diamondbacks in ninth
Tanner Scott slammed the door on the Diamondbacks in the ninth inning on Sunday, working a scoreless frame to protect a two-run lead and earn his seventh save of the season.

Advice: Scott made it look awfully easy in this one, getting Randal Grichuk on a pop up to third base, Gabriel Moreno on a ground ball to shortstop and Eugenio Suarez on strikes to end it. The 29-year-old southpaw needed just 15 pitches (10 strikes) to get the job done. He now boasts a 1.64 ERA to go along with his seven saves on the season. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:51 pm

    • Jason Foley takes blown save in eighth inning
Jason Foley took a blown save after giving up three runs in the eighth Sunday against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Foley was called into a 9-6 game with two on and one out in the eighth. He quickly retired Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who had four hits on the day, but he went on to five up a two-run single to Bo Bichette, and after it looked like he might escape from there, he surrendered a three-run homer on an 0-2 pitch to Daulton Varsho. Foley’s stuff has declined since the beginning of the year, though this is just the second time it’s cost him. If he’s still the favorite for saves in Detroit for now, he’s definitely encouraged A.J. Hinch to ramp up the mixing and matching. At this point, no one else in the Tigers pen stands out enough to warrant a pickup in shallow leagues. Rotoworld Sunday, 12:27 pm
