    • Matt Olson has two hits, HR in win over Cubs
Matt Olson went 2-for-3 with a walk and a three-run home run in a win over the Cubs on Tuesday.

Advice: Olson took a fourth-inning pitch from Jameson Taillon and clobbered it 432 feet at 108.2 mph off the bat. He also had a 105.2 mph double in his first at-bat of the game. It hasn’t been the best start to the season for the slugger, but he’s still barreling the ball an impressive amount pulling the ball more than ever, and swinging and missing only a little bit more than normal. His zone contact is the highest it’s been since 2021, so both the power and batting average should be coming shortly. Rotoworld Today, 6:46 pm

    • DJ LeMahieu (foot) set for rehab assignment
DJ LeMahieu (foot) will start a minor league rehab assignment later this week with Double-A Somerset.

Advice: LeMahieu has been on the shelf all season due to a fracture in his right foot and a couple setbacks. Rotoworld Today, 3:03 pm

    • Runs bases Sunday
LeMahieu (foot) ran the bases Sunday and will take live batting practice again Tuesday, Mark Didtler of the Associated Press reports.

Advice: Running the bases is a significant step in LeMahieu's recovery from a non-displaced fracture of his right foot. The veteran infielder has also been taking batting practice and fielding ground balls, and he could restart a minor-league rehab assignment soon. LeMahieu had begun a rehab stint April 23 but had to be pulled after just one inning due to experiencing soreness in the injured foot. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:27 am

    • DJ LeMahieu (foot) works out before Sunday game
DJ LeMahieu (foot) worked out in the infield prior to Sunday’s game against the Rays.

Advice: LeMahieu has been on the injured list since the beginning of the year with a fracture in his foot, and the infielder was pulled off his rehab assignment with soreness in his foot near the end of April. There’s no timetable for when the 35-year-old will return, but it’s good to see the infielder working out on the field. Rotoworld Sunday, 9:33 am

    • Gets in batting practice Saturday
LeMahieu (foot) participated in live batting practice Saturday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Advice: LeMahieu traveled with the team to Tampa Bay and hit off rehabbing right-hander JT Brubaker (elbow). The veteran third baseman continues to ramp up his activities as he works his way back from the non-displaced right foot fracture he sustained in spring training. LeMahieu made a rehab appearance April 23 with Double-A Somerset, but he was pulled from the game after the first inning due to swelling in his right foot. He could be ready to resume the rehab assignment soon. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:07 am

    • Finally snaps slump
Olson went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Friday's win over the Mets.

Advice: Olson hit Atlanta's third and final homer during the third inning and it proved to be the game-winning blast. It was his first long ball since April 7, snapping an uncharacteristic 26-game skid. During that extended drought, he posted a .508 OPS with 30 strikeouts. On the year, Olson is slashing .202/.311/.372 with 13 extra-base hits and 18 RBI through 35 contests. Rotowire.com Friday, 7:55 pm

    • Continuing to ramp up
LeMahieu (foot) took batting practice on the Yankee Stadium field Wednesday and will travel with the club on its upcoming road trip to Tampa, per MLB.com.

Advice: In addition to swinging the bat, LeMahieu has also been fielding ground balls as he works his way back from the non-displaced right foot fracture he suffered March 16. By traveling with New York on its next road trip, he'll be able to take live at-bats and do infield work at the team's training complex, which happens to be in Tampa. Manager Aaron Boone said Wednesday that the club intends to ramp up LeMahieu's "baseball activities all week" and indicated that the veteran infielder could potentially start a minor-league rehab assignment soon thereafter. • Placed on injured list
Drury (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday.

Advice: Drury exited Wednesday's game after dealing with tightness in his hamstring, an issue he first dealt with in mid-April. He'll be sidelined for at least the next 10 days, leaving Luis Guillorme as the Angels' projected starting second baseman in the short term. Rotowire.com Thursday, 6:36 pm

    • Angels put Brandon Drury (hamstring) on 10-day IL
Angels placed INF Brandon Drury on the 10-day injured list with a left hamstring strain.

Advice: No word yet on the severity of the injury, which will determine how long Drury remains on the shelf. The 31-year-old suffered the injury during Wednesday’s contest against the Pirates and figures to miss at least a couple weeks. Rotoworld Thursday, 6:30 pm
