    • Rhys Hoskins (hamstring) not in Tuesday’s lineup
Rhys Hoskins (hamstring) is not in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Pirates.

Advice: It seems like there’s a possibility Hoskins will manage to avoid a trip to the injured list after undergoing an MRI on Tuesday to determine the severity of a right hamstring. The 31-year-old slugger appears headed for a second opinion at the moment. There should be some clarity on his status at some point in the coming days. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. All indications are that it would be Owen Miller, not top prospect Tyler Black, coming up to take his roster spot if he lands on the injured list. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:09 pm

    • Evan Carter (back) not in Tuesday’s lineup
Evan Carter (back) is absent from the lineup for Tuesday’s contest against the Guardians.

Advice: Carter is targeting a return to the Rangers’ lineup later this week after receiving a cortisone injection on Wednesday to address lower back inflammation. The 21-year-old outfielder appears likely to avoid the injured list, barring something unexpected, and should be ready to roll at some point in a couple days. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:42 pm

    • Not in Tuesday's lineup
Hoskins (hamstring) is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Pirates, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Advice: Hoskins had to depart Monday's loss to Pittsburgh because of a right hamstring injury. He underwent an MRI and is slated to receive a second opinion, so there's no word yet on a possible trip to the injured list. Owen Miller has been added to the Brewers' taxi squad in case a roster move is ultimately required. Jake Bauers will handle first base for the Brewers on Tuesday. • Allows season-high four runs
Crawford (2-2) suffered the loss Monday, allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk over six innings against the Rays. He struck out six.

Advice: Crawford did not allow a long ball after having allowed one each over his past two starts (none over his first six outings) but did serve up three extra-base hits on his way to allowing four earned runs for the first time this season. A two-out triple in the first inning by Amed Rosario was the biggest blow while a fourth inning double by Jose Caballero set up Tampa's fourth run and ultimately served as the deciding run that sent Crawford to his second defeat. Despite the relatively subpar effort, Crawford maintains a high-quality 2.24 ERA that he'll take into his next start, tentatively slated to take place over the weekend when the Red Sox head to St. Louis for an inter-league matchup against the Cardinals. • Drives in four runs
Ramirez went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two stolen bases, and two walks in Monday's win over the Rangers.

Advice: Ramirez knocked two-run singles in both the eighth and ninth innings Monday. It was his first time drawing multiple walks or stealing multiple bases in a game this season. Ramirez was stuck in a 1-for-19 slump over his previous six games before Monday's performance. The veteran third baseman bumped his slash line to .242/.294/.455 with 37 RBI, seven steals and 16 extra-base hits through 41 games. Rotowire.com Monday, 8:40 pm
    • Ramirez has four RBI in win Monday
Jose Ramirez went 2-for-3 with two walks, two stolen bases and four RBI in the Guardians’ win against the Rangers on Monday.

Advice: Ramirez contributed to the Guardians’ win with two-run singles in both the eighth inning and ninth inning. He also stole two bases which gives him seven on the season. Ramirez’ average is merely .242 on the season, but he’s up to 37 RBI in 41 games. Rotoworld Monday, 8:39 pm
    • Scoreless in no-decision
Bibee allowed three hits and two walks over 5.1 scoreless innings in a no-decision Monday. He struck out four during the win over Texas.

Advice: Bibee failed to complete six innings for the third consecutive start, but this time it was simply due to a high pitch count. He was tagged with 10 runs in his previous two starts but bounced back with his second scoreless start of the year. Bibee retired the first 11 batters Monday before tailing off a bit near the end of his start, leaving the game after loading the bases in the sixth inning. He lowered his ERA to 4.34 with a 48:15 K:BB through 45.2 innings. Bibee's next start is expected to be at home this weekend against the Twins. Rotowire.com Monday, 8:35 pm

    • Bibee gets no-decision Monday
Tanner Bibee threw 5 1/3 innings of shutout ball in a no-decision in the Guardians’ 7-0 victory over the Rangers on Monday.

Advice: Bibee allowed three hits, two walks and struck out four in the contest. Guardians manager Stephen Vogt removed Bibee from the game with the bases loaded in the sixth inning. Reliever Nick Sandlin escaped the jam without any runs scoring, preserving Bibee’s ERA. His ERA is 4.34 on the season. The 25-year-old right-hander is set to face the Twins at home this weekend. • Receiving cortisone shot
Carter's MRI revealed inflammation in his lower back, and he'll get a cortisone shot Tuesday, Jeff Wilson of RangersToday.com reports.

Advice: He could be back in the lineup within a few days if all goes well following the cortisone injection, per Wilson. Carter's absence has allowed for Ezequiel Duran to find everyday work while moving around the diamond, and Robbie Grossman also recently picked up a start in left field. Rotowire.com Monday, 8:18 pm
