Brandon Marsh delivers RBI double in win over Nats
Brandon Marsh walked and delivered an RBI double on Friday night, helping to lead the Phillies to a 4-2 victory over the visiting Nationals.
Advice: Marsh drew a walk off of Jake Irvin to lead off the second inning and ultimately came around to score on a wild pitch. He then smacked a run-scoring double off of Irvin in the third inning that extended the Phillies’ advantage to 4-1. On the season, the 26-year-old outfielder is now hitting .248/.309/.429 with six homers, 23 RBI and seven stolen bases through his first 40 games.
