    • Christian Yelich plates two runs to lead Brewers
Christian Yelich went 2-for-4 and drove in a pair of runs on Saturday afternoon, propelling the Brewers to a 5-4 victory over the Tigers in Motown.

Advice: Yelich opened the scoring in the ballgame with an RBI single off of Casey Mize that plated Brice Turang in the first inning. He then drove in another run with a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning. Yelich also reached on an infield single in the fifth inning and swiped second base, but the Brewers couldn’t cash him in. With his two-hit attack, the dynamic 32-year-old outfielder is now hitting .333/.414/.532 with six homers, 29 RBI and 10 stolen bases in what has been an impressive all-around season. • Bradley strikes out seven in loss Saturday
Taj Bradley allowed one run in five innings and took the loss against the Orioles on Saturday.

Advice: Bradley gave up three hits, walked one and struck out seven. It was a strong performance from Bradley, but the Rays were shutout so he had no chance of getting the win. He’s completed six innings in only two of his six starts. While Bradley has a 5.17 ERA on the season, his xFIP is much lower at 3.46. He has 39 strikeouts in 31 1/3 innings. The 23-year-old right-hander is set to face the Cubs at home next week.

    • Hits leadoff homer
Crawford went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Saturday's loss to the Royals.

Advice: The shortstop got the scoring started on the first pitch of the game with his 11th career leadoff homer. He later added another RBI on a single in the fifth, giving him his third multi-RBI game of the season. Crawford now has five home runs this season and three since coming off the IL on May 20. The 29-year-old is working on a five-game hitting streak, which is tied for his longest of the season. Rotowire.com 47 minutes ago

    • J.P. Crawford hits leadoff homer in loss to KC
J.P. Crawford homered and drove in two runs in a loss Saturday to the Royals.

Advice: Crawford didn’t waste any time by homering on the first pitch from Alec Marsh to give Seattle a 1-0 lead. The shortstop also drove in a run with a single in the third to again give the Mariners a lead at 3-2. After a horrible start to the year and missing time with an oblique injury, Crawford is looking more like the breakout hitter of 2023 than his .220/.306/.377 slash might suggest. • Francisco Lindor reaches three times in London opener
Francisco Lindor went 2-for-4 with a walk on Saturday in the Mets’ loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Lindor was one of the few bright spots for the Mets during Saturday’s London Series opener as he wound up reaching base safely in ftrhee of his five plate appearances. The 30-year-old shorstop is batting .300 (6-for-20) with one homer and one steal in six games since June 1. Rotoworld Today, 1:04 pm
    • Not starting Saturday
Suzuki (oblique) isn't in the Cubs' lineup for Saturday's game against the Reds.

Advice: Suzuki was hit in the left side by a throw while stealing second base during Friday's loss, and he was later taken out of the game as a precaution after he felt his oblique tighten up. It's still unclear how serious his injury is, but the Cubs will play it safe Saturday and keep him sidelined. His absence will move Christopher Morel into the DH spot while Patrick Wisdom starts at third base. Rotowire.com Today, 11:01 am

    • Seiya Suzuki out Saturday due to side tightness
Seiya Suzuki (side) is not in the lineup for Saturday’s contest against the Reds.

Advice: It doesn’t come as a surprise to see the Cubs proceeding cautiously here after Suzuki left Friday’s showdown for precautionary reasons due to left side tightness. The 29-year-old corner outfielder has dealt with oblique issues on both sides over the last few years, so it’s understandable that Chicago doesn’t want to take any chances here. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. Rotoworld Today, 10:43 am

    • Fans seven in sixth win
Lodolo (6-2) picked up the win Friday, allowing one run on four hits and two walks over six innings in a 3-2 victory over the Cubs. He struck out seven.

Advice: The left-hander delivered his second straight quality start and fourth of the season on 99 pitches (61 strikes), and the only real mistake Lodolo made resulted in a Dansby Swanson solo shot in the sixth inning. The seven Ks were the most Lodolo has managed in three starts since returning from a groin strain, but he's won all three of those outings with a 2.08 ERA and 1.10 WHIP. He'll look to keep rolling in his next trip to the mound, which lines up to come at home next week against the Guardians. Rotowire.com Today, 6:25 am

    • Stuck with loss in quality start
Steele (0-3) took the loss Friday, giving up three runs on five hits and a walk over seven innings as the Cubs were downed 3-2 by the Reds. He struck out seven.

Advice: The southpaw pitched well in his second quality start of the season, generating 30 called or swinging strikes among his 90 pitches, but a lack of run support kept him out of the win column once again. Steele appears to be rounding into form after missing all of April with a hamstring strain, and over his last three starts he sports a 1.89 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 20:6 K:BB through 19 innings. He'll look for that first victory of 2024 in his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road next week in Tampa Bay. Rotowire.com Today, 6:17 am
