      Padres manager Mike Shildt said that Darvish (groin) will make a rehab start Wednesday with High-A Fort Wayne, Dennis Lin of The Athletic reports.

      Advice: The upcoming rehab start will take a potential return from the 15-day injured list off the table this week, but Darvish shouldn't need more than one tune-up outing in the minors before slotting back into the San Diego rotation. Darvish previously bypassed a rehab assignment when he was on the IL earlier this season due to neck tightness, but the Padres will act more cautiously with the right-hander this time around while he works his way back from a left groin strain that has thus far kept him out for three weeks.       The Padres will have Yu Darvish make a rehab start with high-A Fort Wayne on Wednesday.

It's only the second long ball the veteran closer has allowed this season in 26.2 innings, and Iglesias sports a 2.70 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 20:6 K:BB while converting 18 of 20 save chances.       Advice: Lewis has done nothing but mash since returning from a quadriceps injury he suffered Opening Day. This was the second time since his injury that he's homered in consecutive contests, and he's up to seven long balls in just 11 games this season. He's added 11 RBI, 12 runs scored, two doubles and no stolen bases while batting .390 with a 1.398 OPS over 47 plate appearances. He's seen steady time between third base and designated hitter, though his lengthy injury may give the risk-averse fantasy manager caution despite Lewis' clear upside.       Royce Lewis clobbered a two-run homer in the first inning on Sunday night as the Twins took both games of their doubleheader against the Athletics.

      Advice: The 25-year-old superstar got things started with a bang in this one, demolishing a 427-foot (104.6 mph EV) two-run shot off of Joey Estes in the opening inning. He also homered in the first game of the doubleheader and has now slugged seven long balls in his first 12 games on the season.       Advice: Eflin entered the sixth inning with a four-run lead, but after retiring the first two batters in the frame, he allowed four consecutive singles and was removed one out shy of completing six full innings. The seven strikeouts marked a season high for Eflin, who had failed to record more than three strikeouts during any of his previous five starts. He'll carry a 4.12 ERA and 1.17 WHIP into his next start, currently slated to take place over the weekend when the Rays travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Pirates.
