      Advice: Schwarber was lifted from Thursday's game due to groin tightness, but further evaluation revealed he's battling a strain. While the DH will be shelved for at least 10 days, there's optimism Schwarber will be able to return when first eligible.       Advice: Arenado cut the deficit to 5-2 with his third-inning blast, but the Cardinals weren't able to build off it. While he's battled a couple of arm injures recently, the third baseman has still put together a decent June. He's batting .260 with a .698 OPS this month, though just five of his 20 hits have gone for extra bases over the last 21 contests.       Advice: The hit was a fluky one -- he squibbed a ball down the first-base line and it caromed off the bag and away from Ben Rice rather than rolling foul -- but Turner still put together a productive night in a 9-2 rout. The veteran slugger has found a groove at the plate, going 10-for-25 (.400) over the last eight games with a double, a homer, four RBI, seven runs and an 8:6 BB:K.       Nolan Arenado went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run against the Reds on Thursday.



      Advice: Arenado’s home run was his seventh of the season. He’s struggled mightily this year with a .258 average and .691 OPS. Arenado finished third in the National League MVP voting just two years ago, but has hit .262 with 33 home runs and 127 RBI in 218 games since then.

      Kyle Schwarber was removed from Thursday’s game against the Marlins due to left groin tightness.

      Advice: There should be an additional update regarding the severity of the issue at some point following Thursday’s contest, but it sounds like his early exit was merely for precautionary reasons.       Advice: Arenado played all 18 innings Wednesday at third base in his return from a left forearm injury. He didn't make much of an impact at the plate, but it's encouraging to see the 33-year-old play both halves of the twin bill. He's down to a .254/.310/.364 slash line with six home runs, 32 RBI, 26 runs scored and one stolen base over 73 contests this year. The Cardinals have occasionally used Brandon Crawford and Brendan Donovan at the hot corner, and they could continue to be an option there if Arenado is out of the lineup or limited to designated hitter at any point in the future, as his forearm issue is believed to be a lingering one.
