• Jarren Duran homers, steals home vs. Rays
Jarren Duran went 1-for-3 with a home run and two runs scored in Tuesday’s win over the Rays.

Advice: Duran hit his third homer of the season in the sixth inning to tie the game at 2-2. In the top of the eighth inning, Durran caught the defense sleeping when he stole home after Rays catcher Ben Rortvedt threw down to second to try and catch Rafael Devers stealing. The Red Sox left fielder has now hit safely in seven straight games and is hitting .278 in the month of May.

  • Criswell allows two earned runs in win over Rays
Cooper Criswell allowed two earned runs over 5 1/3 innings in the Red Sox win over the Rays.

Advice: Criswell was solid in this one, and as now allowed three earned runs or less in each of his eight starts this season. Criswell ran into trouble in the first inning when he allowed three hits to his first four batters faced, with the third hit being a two-RBI single from Isaac Paredes. It was the only two runs Criswell would allow, as he was able to settle and allowed just two hits the rest of the way. Criswell will make his next start on Monday against the Orioles. Fry went 1-for-2 with a walk, a stolen base and two RBI in Monday's 3-1 win against the Mets.

Advice: Fry plated two of Cleveland's three runs with a single in the first inning. He has been swinging a hot bat in May, slashing .353/.488/.647 with three homers, seven RBI and 10 runs along with an 8:8 BB:K over 43 plate appearances. Fry also has a stolen base in each of his past two games after swiping just one bag across his first 30 games this season. Rotowire.com Today, 12:08 am

  • Draws another start
Brooks is scheduled to start Tuesday's game against the Rockies in Oakland.

Advice: After having not started in the big leagues since 2019, the 34-year-old Brooks was called up from Triple-A Las Vegas last week and impressed in his move into the Oakland rotation, tossing seven innings of three-run ball while striking out five in a loss to the Mariners. With three Oakland starters currently on the 15-day injured list and four more starting candidates on the 60-day IL, Brooks looks like he'll have a hold on a rotation spot until the Athletics' pitching staff gets healthier. • Hits homer No. 9
Paredes went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run during Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Blue Jays.

Advice: Paredes was the only source of offense for the Rays, delivering a two-run homer off Zach Pop in the top of the ninth inning. The third baseman has notched a hit in seven straight starts, batting 11-for-28 (.392) with six RBI during that stretch. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:17 pm

  • Isaac Paredes homers in loss
Isaac Paredes hit a two-run home run on Sunday against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Paredes’ homer was the only sign of life for the Rays’ offense on Sunday as they were stifled by Alek Manoah for seven innings. Paredes continues to prove his doubters wrong with a .309 batting average, .916 OPS, and nine home runs on the season. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:41 pm

  • Eleven-game hitting streak
Tovar went 2-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI on Saturday against the Giants.

Advice: Tovar took over as Colorado's leadoff hitter with a lefty on the mound and did his damage in the third inning with an RBI single before coming around to score in the same frame. He has at least one hit in each of his last 11 games, during which he's gone 17-for-49 with two home runs, seven runs scored and seven RBI. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:48 pm

  • Pops fourth homer
Fry went 3-for-3 with a two-run homer in Friday's win over the Twins.

Advice: Fry put Cleveland ahead with a 364-foot home run in the sixth inning off Steven Okert. The 28-year-old utility man has been especially hot since the calendar turned to May, hitting .366 (11-for-30) this month. Over 95 plate appearances this season, Fry is slashing .333/.453/.560 with four homers, 15 runs scored and 14 RBI. Rotowire.com Friday, 7:46 pm
