    • Cal Raleigh homers, steals base in loss to Rays
      Cal Raleigh belted a solo homer and also stole a base on Monday in the Mariners’ loss to the Rays.

      Advice: The aptly named “Big Dumper” isn’t exactly known for his stolen base prowess, but he’s flashes strong instincts on the bases throughout his career, and is now up to three thefts on the year. He connected for a fourth-inning solo shot off Rays starter Taj Bradley for his 13th long ball of the year.       Houck allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits and a walk over 6.2 innings in a no-decision Monday. He struck out seven during the win against the Blue Jays.

      Advice: Houck gave up just one run through six frames before the Blue Jays put two more runs on his final line during their five-run seventh inning. He's produced six quality starts in his last seven outings, giving him 13 through 16 total starts. Houck owns a terrific 2.18 ERA with a 101:18 K:BB through 103.1 frames.     • Elly De La Cruz hits 14th homer, Reds rout Pirates
      Elly De La Cruz went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer and three RBI on Monday, leading the Reds to an 11-5 blowout victory over the Pirates.

      Advice: De La Cruz served as Cincinnati’s primary offensive catalyst on Monday night at Great American Ball Park with a three-hit performance that included a pair of batted balls with exit velocities over 110 mph, including an impressive 439-foot moonshot -- his 14th round-tripper of the season -- off Pirates reliever Daulton Jefferies in the sixth inning. He also scalded a 110-mph double to right field off Pittsburgh starter Bailey Falter, which brought home a run earlier in the contest. The 22-year-old fantasy superstar has seemingly caught fire again over the last few days, batting .379 (11-for-29) with two homers and one steal over his last seven games.       Bryan Reynolds extended his hitting streak to 21 consecutive games on Monday in the Pirates’ loss to the Reds.

      Bryce Harper went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer and five RBI on Monday, powering the Phillies to a dominant 8-1 victory over the Tigers.

      Advice: Harper kicked off the scoring in the opening frame with a sizzling two-run double to center field off Tigers starter Casey Mize, which left his bat at a stratopsheric 111 mph exit velocity. He also connected for his 19th round-tripper of the season, sending a three-run moonshot to right field off southpaw reliever Tyler Holton a couple frames later to cap off a stellar performance in a one-sided affair at Comerica Park. It was Guerrero Jr.’s second consecutive game with a home run and third home run in his last four games. He’s hitting .286 with a .797 OPS and 36 RBI on the season.

      Tanner Houck allowed three runs (two earned) in 6 2/3 innings and got a no-decision in the Red Sox’ 7-6 victory over the Blue Jays on Monday.



      Advice: Houck gave up five hits, walked one and struck out seven. Boston only scored two runs while he was in the game before coming back to win late. Houck’s ERA is now 2.18 on the year and his 101 strikeouts on the season rank inside the top 15 in all of baseball. The 27-year-old right-hander is set to face the Padres at home this weekend.
