    • Bryce Harper in Phillies lineup on Thursday
Bryce Harper is at first base and batting third on Thursday against the Mets.

Advice: Harper was back in Philadelphia’s lineup on Wednesday following a one-game absence due to a migraine. It doesn’t sound like a concern at all moving forward. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:36 pm

    • Max Kepler goes hitless in Twins’ shutout loss
Max Kepler went 0-for-4 with a strikeout on Thursday in the Twins’ shutout loss at the hands of the Yankees.

Advice: Kepler has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball of late, hitting .354 (17-for-48) with two homers and seven doubles in 14 games since the start of May, but wasn’t able to get anything going in this one. He wasn’t alone as Minnesota’s lineup wound up being limited to just three hits as Yankees starter Clarke Schmidt and reliever Victor González combined on a shutout. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:32 pm
    • Braves coaches think Acuña needs a “detox”
According to Ken Suguira of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Braves gave Ronald Acuña Jr. the day off on Wednesday because they wanted him to “detox” as a way to break his slump.

Advice: Acuña’s batting average (.245), slugging percentage (.342), and home-run rate (one per 51.7 at-bats) are all beneath the single-season lows in his seven-year career, as the 26-year-old tries to follow up a historically good season. “You can just read their faces sometimes, and actions,” said Braves coach Brian Snitker. “And it’s like, ‘Well, it’s time.’ Kid needs a little breather here. He’s played every inning of every game. It’s not a bad thing to sit and watch sometimes.” Braves coaches, Eddie Pérez and Tom Goodwin, told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that they believe that Acuña is pressing. “Sometimes, you force some things,” Goodwin said. Perhaps with a short break, Acuña will get back to the level everybody has seen him produce at before. Fantasy managers should clearly keep him in the lineup and hope he gets it going soon. • Powers home three runs in win
Harper went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double, two total runs and three total RBI in Wednesday's 10-5 win over the Mets.

Advice: Harper missed Tuesday's contest against New York due to a migraine, but he didn't show any lingering effects of the ailment upon his return to the lineup. The first baseman belted a solo homer to left field in his first at-bat, then plated a pair of runs with a double in the fifth inning. Harper had been in a mini slump coming into the game with a .190 average and just one RBI over his previous five contests, but he appears to be back on track. He's tied for eighth in the majors with 10 homers and ranks 10th with 32 RBI on the campaign. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:15 pm

    • Delivers clutch hit
Gurriel went 1-for-3 with a walk, a double and an RBI in Wednesday's 2-1 win over Cincinnati.

Advice: Gurriel's two-out, bloop double in the eighth inning plated the winning run. The outfielder has been fighting it at the plate and entered the contest batting .121 (8-for-66) with two RBI over the previous 16 games. His average has dropped to .231 due to the slump, but Gurriel remains an important middle-of-the-order bat for Arizona and is second on the club with 25 RBI over 40 games. • Ronald Acuña Jr. not in Braves lineup on Wednesday
Ronald Acuña Jr. is not in the Braves’ starting lineup for Wednesday night’s showdown against the Cubs.

Advice: It looks to be nothing more than a routine day of rest for the 26-year-old superstar. Michael Harris II will move up to the leadoff spot in the Braves’ order while Adam Duvall will draw a rare start against a right-hander and will bat sixth against Javier Assad and the Cubs on Wednesday evening in Atlanta. • Gets first day off of season
Acuna is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cubs, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: Acuna is on the bench for the series finale, but his absence doesn't appear to be anything more than a much-needed maintenance day after he had started in right field in each of Atlanta's first 39 games of the season. Adam Duvall will step in as the starting right fielder in place of Acuna, who is in the midst of a cool stretch at the plate with just four hits in 31 at-bats over his last eight starts. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 1:08 pm
    • Back in action Wednesday
Harper (migraine) will start at first base and bat third in Wednesday's game against the Mets.

Advice: Harper will make his return to the lineup after sitting out Tuesday's 4-0 win with what was apparently a minor migraine. Alec Bohm filled in at first base but will move back to his usual post at third base Wednesday to accommodate Harper. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 12:11 pm

    • Elly De La Cruz sits for first time this season
Elly De La Cruz is absent from the Reds lineup Wednesday for the first time this season.

Advice: No word of any injury, and we’re going to assume this was a planned day off. Spencer Steer got one yesterday, and he also had been in the lineup every game this season. The Reds have Santiago Espinal at shortstop today. Rotoworld Wednesday, 10:20 am
