Freeman has yet to fully flex his power this season -- he has just three homers through 167 plate appearances -- but he's been otherwise productive, as usual, with a .292/.407/.445 slash line, 21 RBI, 18 runs and a stolen base.       Freddie Freeman hit a solo homer in a victory Monday over the Marlins.

      Advice: Freeman went back-to-back with Shohei Ohtani, and his solo blast gave the Dodgers a 3-2 lead. The 34-year-old hasn’t shown a ton of pop in the early portion of the year, as it’s just the third homer for the veteran first baseman in 2024.       José Ramírez went 1-for-4 with a home run in Monday’s 2-1 win over the Tigers.

      Advice: Ramírez’s go-ahead home run came in the sixth inning as it hugged the right side of the diamond and hit the foul pole. It was a much-needed run for Cleveland who are now 23-12 through its first 35 games of the season — the team’s best start since 2011.
