    • Sitting against lefty Wednesday
Grisham is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mets.

Advice: After cracking the starting lineup Sunday against Atlanta in the Yankees' first game following Giancarlo Stanton's (hamstring) move to the injured list, Grisham has now hit the bench for both contests against the Mets. The Yankees have faced left-handed starters for both matchups with the Mets, which may be the primary reason the lefty-hitting Grisham has been out of the lineup. Grisham could occupy the larger side of a de facto platoon with the right-handed-hitting J.D. Davis for the final open spot in the New York lineup while Stanton is on the shelf. • Heading back to bench Wednesday
Barger is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Red Sox.

Advice: Barger will take a seat after he had started in eight of the Blue Jays' past 10 games, with five of those assignments coming at third base and the other three in the corner outfield. With Bo Bichette returning from the injured list Tuesday, Barger's opportunities to play in the infield will become more limited moving forward, but he could still push Davis Schneider or George Springer for the occasional start in left or right field. • Andrew McCutchen hits two-run homer to sink Reds
Andrew McCutchen belted a two-run homer on Wednesday, lifting the Pirates to a 6-1 win over the Reds.

Advice: McCutchen gave Pittsburgh a commanding three-run advantage, which they never relinquished, courtesy of a fifth-inning tater off Reds starter Graham Ashcraft. It was his lone hit in five at-bats in the contest, but it was a big difference-maker. McCutchen’s halcyon days as a game-changing five-category impact fantasy contributor are long in the past, but he’s more than held his own at 37 years old this season coming off last year’s major Achilles injury. He’s up to 11 homers and has also chipped in a pair of stolen bases as well. Rotoworld Today, 1:44 pm
    • Guardians recall Jhonkensy Noel to make MLB debut
Guardians recalled OF Jhonkensy Noel from Triple-A Columbus.

Advice: Noel had an 1.156 OPS for Columbus this month, putting him at .295/.359/.578 with 18 homers for the season. It’s unclear how much of a role the Guardians will carve out for him versus righties, but he should definitely be the right fielder against lefties. He struggled to hit for average in previous years, and he’s a zero when it comes to steals, so he’ll need to keep showing plenty of power in order to be useful in fantasy leagues. • Summoned to big leagues
The Guardians recalled Noel from Triple-A Columbus on Wednesday. He'll start at first base and bat sixth in the Guardians' series finale in Baltimore.

Advice: Noel will hit the big leagues for the first time. The 22-year-old slashed .295/.359/.578 with 18 home runs over 65 games with Columbus this season. Much of that production has come since the start of May, with Noel producing a .343/.404/.651 line with 14 home runs in 43 contests over that stretch. Noel has also struck out at just an 18.1-percent rate since May 1, which is a positive development for a player who has often struggled to make contact during his minor-league career. While he can handle first base and the corner outfield spots in a pinch, Noel's best shot at consistent playing time in Cleveland could come at designated hitter. Rotowire.com Today, 12:05 pm

    • Regaining playing time
Bauers will start at first base and bat fifth in Wednesday's game against the Rangers.

Advice: Bauers will be included in the lineup for the second game in a row and for the third time in four games after producing three hits over his prior two starts. The 29-year-old is still getting on base at a lowly .279 clip for the season, so despite seeing his playing time trend upward of late, he's hardly locked into an everyday role for Milwaukee. • On fire at Triple-A
Noel is slashing .402/.471/.705 with nine home runs and a 14.5-percent strikeout rate in his last 30 games for Triple-A Columbus.

Advice: With Kyle Manzardo failing to take a big-league job and run with it and Noel already being on the 40-man roster, Noel could get a shot as Cleveland's designated hitter sometime this summer. The righty-hitting slugger has huge raw power, and while he has seen 25 starts in the corner outfield spots this season, he's probably too big (6-foot-3, 250 pounds) to get regular starts in the outfield at the highest level. • Three-game hitting streak
Jimenez went 1-for-5 with a double and an RBI on Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Jimenez started in his third consecutive game since being activated from the injured list Sunday, and he has one hit in each contest. His performance Tuesday marked his first extra-base hit in that span, and he also has one RBI and one run scored. Jimenez has hit either third or fourth in every game since his return. • Sitting Tuesday
Slater isn't in the Giants' lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cubs, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: After going 0-for-4 with three strikeouts and an RBI during Monday's game, Slater will get a day to regroup Tuesday while Luis Matos starts in right field, batting ninth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:42 pm
