      David Robertson pitched a hitless 10th with a one-run lead for his first save Sunday against the Royals.

      Advice: Kirby Yates wound up with the win after pitching scoreless eighth and ninth innings. It’s a good reminder that even though Robertson was bypassed in favor of Yates after José Leclerc was removed from the closing gig, he’s still intriguing in mixed leagues.       Rodriguez (shoulder) played catch from 60-to-75 feet Sunday, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

      Advice: Rodriguez landed on the injured list with shoulder inflammation following his April 29 start against the Yankees, and he ended up being shut down from throwing for only a few days. The right-hander could soon ramp up to bullpen sessions, and it remains to be seen if he'll require a minor-league rehab assignment before rejoining Baltimore's rotation.     • Grayson Rodriguez (shoulder) throws from 75 feet
      Grayson Rodriguez (shoulder) was able to throw off flat ground Sunday.

      Advice: Orioles pitching coach Drew French told reporters that Rodriguez threw from 60-75 foot away and that it was a “good day” for him. The right-hander has been on the shelf since May 1 with shoulder inflammation, and while there’s no timetable for his return, it’s certainly a positive development that he’s able to throw a few days later.       Cease (4-2) earned the win Friday against the Diamondbacks, allowing one run on three hits and no walks over 6.2 innings. He struck out eight.

      Advice: Cease continued his brilliant start to the season, generating 18 whiffs on 102 pitches. The former White Sox pitcher appears to have re-discovered his 2022 form, posting a 2.55 ERA, 0.80 WHIP and 48:14 K:BB over 42.1 innings.       Dylan Cease allowed just a run in 6 2/3 innings against the Diamondbacks on Friday while picking up a win.

      Advice: Cease was able to pick up his fourth win of the season with the victory. The right-hander picked up eight strikeouts in the process while not issuing any walks. When the 28-year-old throws strikes, he’s one of the toughest pitchers to have success against, and Friday was a good example of that. He’ll look to repeat his success against the Cubs next week.       Rodon (2-2) took the loss Thursday against the Orioles, allowing seven runs (six earned) on eight hits over four innings. He struck out six.

      Advice: After shutting out Baltimore through the first two innings, Rodon allowed three solo home runs between the third and fourth innings before the O's put up a four spot in the fifth, forcing the Yankees to turn to the bullpen. It's a deflating effort from Rodon, who'd allowed just one run over 13 innings in his previous two starts. His ERA is up to 3.68 on the season with a 1.28 WHIP and 36:14 K:BB in seven starts.
