    • Aaron Judge to bat cleanup for AL All-Stars
Aaron Judge will bat cleanup for the American League in Tuesday’s All-Star Game.

Advice: It seems Bruce Bochy disagrees with Aaron Boone in using Judge as a No. 2 hitter. He has Judge batting behind Steven Kwan, Gunnar Henderson and Juan Soto on Tuesday, so unless someone gets on base, we’ll miss out on a Paul Skenes-Judge matchup. Rounding out the lineup behind Judge will be Yordan Alvarez, José Ramírez, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Adley Rutschman and Marcus Semien. Rotoworld Monday, 1:12 pm

    • Homers as part of three hit day
Guerrero went 3-for-5 with a solo homer, a double and two runs scored in Sunday's 8-7 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: After surrendering a 7-0 lead in the fifth, Guerrero swung the momentum back in the Blue Jays direction with a monstrous solo home run to center field in the seventh to put his team back up 8-7 and the score would hold there. The home run was his first this month and his eighth three-hit performance of the year. After a blistering end to June, Guerrero has cooled off a bit in July and is slashing .229/.250/.354 with his one homer, eight RBI and seven runs scored in 50 plate appearances. He'll head into the break slashing .288/.359/.456 and leads the Blue Jays in home runs (14), RBI (55) and runs scored (47) among other batting categories. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:59 am
    • Notches four-out save
Scott allowed two walks over 1.1 scoreless innings and earned a save against the Reds on Sunday. He struck out two batters.

Advice: Scott faced a two-on, two-out situation in the ninth inning but struck out Edwin Rios to close out the 3-2 win. He's riding a 12.1-inning scoreless streak while converting six straight save chances. He's now 14 for 16 in save opportunities with a stellar 1.34 ERA through 39 appearances. • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. powers Jays past D’Backs
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. clobbered a go-ahead solo homer in the seventh inning on Sunday, leading the Blue Jays to an 8-7 victory over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: The two sides traded seven-run rallies in the fourth and fifth inning on Sunday, then Guerrero Jr. swung the game back in the Jays’ direction with a 438-foot (109.9 mph EV) go-ahead solo shot off of Kevin Ginkel in the seventh. He also singled and doubled in the ballgame, finishing the day 3-for-5 with a pair of runs scored. On the season, the 25-year-old slugger is now hitting .288/.359/.456 with 14 long balls and 55 RBI. • Xander Bogaerts collects RBI in loss to Braves
Xander Bogaerts went 2-for-4 and drove in a run as the Padres fell to the Braves in Sunday’s first half finale.

Advice: The Padres strung together three singles against Chris Sale in the opening inning, with Bogaerts’ knock plating Donovan Solano with the game’s first run. Bogaerts also led off the eighth inning with an infield single. He is now hitting .231/.274/.323 with four homers, 15 RBI and four stolen bases through his first 49 contests on the season. • Nursing minor shoulder issue
Garcia was scratched from Sunday's lineup with a sore left shoulder, but he should be fine when the second half opens Friday at home against the Reds, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: Manager Davey Martinez said the training staff looked at Garcia and didn't find anything to be concerned about. Ildemaro Vargas got the nod at the keystone in Garcia's absence. Rotowire.com Sunday, 2:32 pm

    • Luis Garcia Jr. day-to-day with sore shoulder
Nationals’ manager Dave Martinez confirmed after Sunday’s game that Luis Garcia Jr. was scratched from the lineup due to soreness in his left shoulder.

Advice: Fortunately, Martinez added that the 24-year-old infielder was evaluated by the training staff and they didn’t find anything to be concerned about. He’s expected to be ready to return to the Nationals’ lineup when they kick off the second half against the Reds on Friday. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:30 pm

    • Scott snags 14th save in win over Mets
Tanner Scott escaped a ninth-inning jam to secure a 3-2 win over the Reds on Sunday and pick up his 14th save.

Advice: Scott was called on to face Spencer Steer with two outs in the eighth inning and a runner on first, and he got Steer to foul out. He then walked the first batter of the ninth inning and after a groundout moved the runner to second base, intentionally walked another batter before getting Edwin Rias swinging to end the game. Command continues to be a concern for Scott, but he has a 1.34 ERA on the season and figures to be a much-discussed name at the trade deadline. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:55 pm

    • Late scratch from lineup
The Nationals scratched Garcia from the lineup for Sunday's game in Milwaukee for an unspecified reason.

Advice: Expect the Nationals to provide an explanation behind Garcia's removal from the starting nine later Sunday. Ildemaro Vargas will replace Garcia at second base and will bat seventh. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:45 am
