    • Snags win Tuesday
Suarez (3-0) pitched 1.1 perfect innings and earned the win Tuesday over the Athletics.

Advice: Suarez kept the game tied at 3-3 during his appearance, and Kyle Higashioka delivered a walk-off blast for the Padres in the ninth inning. This was just Suarez's third appearance in June, as save chances have been rare for the Padres recently -- the team lost six of eight games prior to the start of this week's series versus the Athletics. Suarez has been dominant in the closer role with a 0.64 ERA, 0.67 WHIP and 27:6 K:BB over 28.1 innings while converting all 17 of his save chances and adding one hold. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:59 pm
    • Goes 4.2 innings vs. Tigers
Parker allowed four unearned runs on four hits and three walks over 4.2 innings in a no-decision Tuesday against Detroit. He stuck out one.

Advice: Parker held the Tigers scoreless through his first four innings, though he'd ultimately allow four unearned runs in the fifth following his own error. While Parker wasn't at his best Tuesday, the rookie left-hander has still yet to allow more than three earned runs in 11 starts this season. His ERA is down to 3.21 with a 1.09 WHIP and 46:15 K:BB across 61.2 innings. Parker is currently in line to face the Marlins at home in his next outing. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 7:29 pm

    • Mitchell Parker allows four unearned runs vs. Tigers
Mitchell Parker was charged with four runs (zero earned) over five innings on Tuesday in a no-decision against the Tigers.

Advice: Parker allowed four runs for the first time in 11 starts to open his big-league career, but none of them wound up being earned as all of the damage came following his own fielding error with two outs in the fifth inning. He finished with one strikeout and also issued three walks. He’ll bring a respectable 3.21 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 46/15 K/BB ratio across 61 2/3 innings (11 starts) into a favorable home matchup on Sunday against the Marlins. Rotoworld Tuesday, 6:35 pm

    • Bobby Miller to make rehab start Thursday at AAA
Bobby Miller will make another minor league rehab start on Thursday for Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Advice: Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters that Miller will return to Los Angeles if he gets through this latest rehab outing without any issues. The 25-year-old righty has been on the shelf since mid-April due to right shoulder inflammation, but it sounds like he’s really close to making it back. Rotoworld Tuesday, 5:12 pm

    • Geared up for another rehab start
Miller (shoulder) will make another rehab start with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Miller was effective in his last outing with Oklahoma City, pitching four innings, allowing one run on four hits and two walks while striking out two batters Friday. Manager Dave Roberts said that if all goes well Thursday, it'll be Miller's final appearance of his rehab assignment before he'll return to the major-league roster. The 25-year-old has been on the 15-day injured list since April 13 due to right shoulder inflammation, but Miller now appears to be on the doorstep of making his return after two months on the shelf. • Should make next start
Guardians manager Stephen Vogt said Tuesday that Lively (undisclosed) has checked out fine and is expected to make his next turn through the rotation, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The 32-year-old experienced some unspecified tightness during his start in Miami over the weekend, which resulted in him being lifted after five scoreless innings. Lively hasn't had any issues over the past couple days, putting him on track to start this weekend in Toronto. Cleveland should confirm its pitching plans later in the week. • Vogt: Ben Lively to make next scheduled start
Guardians manager Stephen Vogt told reporters Ben Lively (undisclosed) is on track to make his next start.

Advice: Lively went back to Cleveland over the weekend to undergo additional testing for an undisclosed injury. The 32-year-old journeyman appears to have checked out fine and will presumably take the ball on Saturday against the Blue Jays. Rotoworld Tuesday, 2:06 pm

    • Logan Gilbert gets no-decision after quality start
Logan Gilbert was left with a no-decision Monday after allowing three runs in 6 2/3 innings against the White Sox.

Advice: Gilbert struck out eight and walked none. The Mariners have struggled mightily to score runs while Gilbert is in the game, but they did score eight after he left to win tonight. Gilbert is just 3-4 in spite of a 3.19 ERA and an 84/20 K/BB in 90 1/3 innings. Rotoworld Monday, 10:44 pm

    • Fans eight in no-decision
Gilbert allowed three runs on six hits and no walks while striking out eight batters over 6.2 innings in a no-decision against the White Sox on Monday.

Advice: Gilbert got through five scoreless frames before Luis Robert tagged him for a two-run homer in the sixth. The righty hurler returned for the seventh and gave up another run on a pair of hits before being pulled with two outs. Though he faded over his final two innings, Gilbert tied his second-highest strikeout total of the campaign and finished with his fifth quality start over his past six outings. However, he hasn't earned any victories over that stretch despite posting a solid 3.52 ERA. Rotowire.com Monday, 9:51 pm
