      Robert (hip) will begin playing in Arizona Complex League games on Wednesday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

      Advice: Robert has been on the shelf since April 6 due to a Grade 2 right hip flexor strain, but he now appears to be ready to test his hip in a competitive environment. The plan is for him to remain at the White Sox's complex in Arizona through the weekend before officially beginning an assignment with one of Chicago's minor-league affiliates next week.       Advice: The plan appears to be for Robert to get a couple games in this week out in Arizona before heading out on an official minor league rehab assignment next week. The 26-year-old fantasy superstar has been on the shelf since early April due to a Grade 2 hip flexor strain that was expected to keep him sidelined for at least 6-8 weeks.       Robert (hip) is still awaiting his first action at the team's complex in Glendale, Ariz., Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. "We anticipate some game action later this week,'' general manager Chris Getz said. "He seems to have turned the corner and is trending well."

      Advice: There was some hope that Robert would get into games in Arizona last week, but the White Sox decided not to push it. Robert missed more than three months with a similar injury in 2021, so it makes sense that the organization would take a cautious approach.       Morel went 1-for-3 with an RBI in Saturday's 1-0 win over the Pirates.

      Advice: Morel's line drive to center in the bottom of the ninth inning brought in Cody Bellinger with the game-winning run. It was a nice effort for Morel, who's been productive this month despite batting just .220 in May. The production has come mostly in the power department, as the 24-year-old has five home runs this month across 17 games. Morel came into May with four long balls over his first 29 contests.       Advice: The 25-year-old had his best game yet as a Yankee, taking Brad Keller deep in the first and fifth innings. It was Soto's first multi-hit performance, and first long balls, since May 8, and through 47 games on the season he carries a .317/.414/.561 slash line with 11 homers, four steals, 32 runs and 37 RBI.       Christopher Morel went 1-for-3, driving in the winning run in the Cubs’ 1-0 win over the Pirates on Saturday.

      Advice: The Cubs and Pirates were scoreless going into the bottom of the ninth in what turned out to be a pitcher’s duel. Cody Bellinger reached scoring position with a one-out double off David Bednar. Morel followed with a base hit to walk it off, bringing Bellinger home for the winning run.
