      Advice: Doval was tasked with protecting a two-run lead and needed only nine pitches (eight strikes) to slam the door. The hard-throwing 26-year-old stopper has reeled off four consecutive scoreless appearances since June 7 and converted 12 of his 14 save opportunities this season. Due to the score, Clase wasn't eligible for a save, though the Guardians opted to give him his first game action since Tuesday.
