    • Up to 11 saves
Doval earned the save in Saturday's 3-1 win over Texas, working around a hit and a walk in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: Things got dicey for Doval in the ninth, as the Rangers got the tying runs into scoring position with two outs. However, the right-hander would coax a flyout off the bat of Leody Taveras to lock down his 11th save of the year and his second in as many days. The 26-year-old Doval lowered his ERA to 3.91 with a 1.58 WHIP and 31:18 K:BB across 25.1 innings this season. Rotowire.com 2 minutes ago
    • Goes 4.2 innings again vs. Texas
Howard didn't factor into the decision Saturday against the Rangers, allowing one run on three hits and three walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out two.

Advice: Howard ran into some trouble in the first inning, walking the first two batters he faced before ultimately allowing a run on a sacrifice fly. While he'd hold the Rangers scoreless over his final 3.2 frames, Howard would wind up an out shy of qualifying for the win. The 27-year-old right-hander has yet to make it through five innings through his first three outings with the Giants this year, though he's allowed just three earned runs over 13.1 frames. Howard figures to remain in the rotation until Blake Snell (groin) is ready to return. He's currently lined up for a home matchup with the Angels in his next start. Rotowire.com 6 minutes ago
    • Trevor Megill slams door on Tigers on Saturday
Trevor Megill slammed the door on the Tigers on Saturday afternoon, working a perfect ninth inning to protect a one-run lead.

Advice: The 30-year-old right-hander made it look awfully easy again in this one, getting Matt Vierling on a ground ball to shortstop, Riley Greene on a fly ball to right and Mark Canha on a fly ball to center to end it. He has been outstanding overall on the season, posting a 2.12 ERA and a 24/4 K/BB ratio over 17 innings while converting nine of his first 10 save chances. Rotoworld 11 minutes ago
    • Luis Medina gives up six runs in loss to Blue Jays
Luis Medina surrendered six runs with one strikeout over 4 2/3 innings in a loss to the Blue Jays on Saturday.

Advice: Medina struggled to find the zone in the opening frame, walking the bases loaded before Danny Jansen brought a run in on a sacrifice fly. He was able to escape the inning with just the one run scored and tossed three more scoreless innings until he unraveled in the fifth. Kevin Kiermaier led off with a solo homer before three doubles, a walk, and a base hit made it six runs on Medina. He’d be pulled with two outs in the inning, ending his day with a 5.23 ERA,, 1.35 WHIP, and a 7/7 K/BB ratio across 10 1/3 innings. He’s currently in line for a matchup against the Twins in Minnesota on Thursday. Rotoworld 16 minutes ago

    • Strikes out season-high eight
Marsh (5-3) got the win vs the Mariners on Saturday. He went five innings, giving up four runs on seven hits while striking out eight.

Advice: Marsh gave up a leadoff homer to J.P. Crawford but would settle in nicely, as he retired the next 13 batters in order. He struck out eight of those 13 hitters, which is a new season high and three away from his career high. Marsh ran into trouble in the fifth and wound up allowing four runs before being pulled, his third straight outing in which he's given up at least four earned runs. His ERA has gone from 2.72 to 4.05 over his last three starts, but he remains a key piece of the Royals' revitalized rotation this season. Rotowire.com 34 minutes ago

    • David Bednar strikes out two in scoreless inning
David Bednar struck out two batters in a scoreless ninth inning against the Twins on Saturday.

Advice: The Pirates plated three runs in the bottom of the eighth to go up by four, putting a save situation out of reach for Bednar, who took over to close it out in the top of the ninth. He worked around a base hit, striking out two in a scoreless frame. The 29-year-old right-hander has been excellent after a slow start. He’s allowed just three runs over 17 1/3 innings since the start of May while converting eight of his 13 saves. Rotoworld 35 minutes ago

    • Carmen Mlodzinski records five outs as opener Saturday
Carmen Mlodzinski tossed 1 2/3 scoreless innings as the opener in a no-decision against the Twins on Saturday.

Advice: With injuries to the pitching staff, Mlodzinski made the start as the opener against the Twins. He recorded the first five outs for the team, striking out one with no hits or walks allowed. The 25-year-old right-hander will likely revert back to the bullpen with a 5.84 ERA, 1.54 WHIP, and a 12/8 K/BB ratio across 12 1/3 innings. Rotoworld 36 minutes ago

    • Simeon Woods Richardson takes loss vs. Pirates
Simeon Woods Richardson allowed one run with six strikeouts over 6 1/3 innings in a loss to the Pirates on Saturday.

Advice: Woods Richardson was excellent on Saturday despite taking a tough-luck loss as the Twins were unable to give him any run support. He scattered five hits over six scoreless innings, striking out six batters with no walks allowed. Rowdy Tellez would finally get to him in the seventh, launching a solo homer to break the scoreless game. The 23-year-old right-hander has produced a 2.84 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, and a 42/11 K/BB ratio across 50 2/3 innings. He’ll take on the Athletics in Minnesota on Thursday. Rotoworld 36 minutes ago
    • Wilson picks up first save Saturday
Justin Wilson picked up the save against the Cubs on Saturday.

Advice: The save was Wilson’s first of the year. With Alexis Diaz unavailable after picking up his 13th save on Friday, Lucas Sims started the ninth inning. Wilson came in with two men on and one out and escaped with the save. Outside of the occasional save, Wilson doesn’t have much fantasy value. Rotoworld 40 minutes ago
