      Spencer Steer clobbered a solo homer on Wednesday in the Reds’ loss to the Padres.

      Advice: Steer kicked off the scoring with a solo shot to left-center field -- his fourth round-tripper of the season -- off Padres starter Joe Musgrove in the opening frame. It was the first time he’s gone deep since April 6, snapping a bizarre 22-game homerless drought.       Advice: The home run was a 424-foot shot off Paul Blackburn that left the bat at 108.7 mph. It was Mountcastle’s fourth home run on the season, and he’s now slashing .319/.379/.527 on the season with 14 RBI. He gets lost in the shuffle with the Orioles’ having truckloads of talented young prospects, but Mountcastle has been one of their better hitters to start the season and needs to be started in all leagues for now.
