      Advice: Ray gave up a hit to Mariners top prospect Felnin Celesten, who is quickly emerging as one of the top fantasy prospects in baseball, but struck out the other three batters he faced in his first competitive inning since last year’s Tommy John surgery.     • Jared Jones holds Dodgers scoreless in win
      Jared Jones threw six scoreless innings in a win over the Dodgers, striking out six and walking three.

      Advice: Jones allowed three hits on the night and just one extra-base hit, a double to Freddie Freeman. After allowing at least three runs in four straight starts, including five earned runs in his last start against the Tigers, some questions were mounting about whether Jones was tiring. Instead, he came out and shut down the Dodgers. It wasn’t an electric start with just a 21 percent CSW, but he did get 12 whiffs on 51 swings for a 24 percent whiff rate.       Advice: It was an impressive return to form for Jones after he gave up a season-high five runs in 4.1 innings in his last start against Detroit. It's the fifth quality start in Jones' last six outings -- his ERA now sits at 3.25 with a 1.01 WHIP 76:15 K:BB across 12 starts (69.1 innings) in his rookie campaign.
