    • Perfect at plate Thursday
Lindor went 4-for-4 with a home run, an additional RBI and a stolen base in Thursday's 3-2 win against Arizona.

Advice: Lindor suffered a swollen finger on a bunt attempt during a game Tuesday, but the issue hasn't caused him to miss any time and certainly didn't seem to impact his swing Thursday. The shortstop collected his second four-hit game of the season, which was highlighted by a 431-foot solo homer in the third inning. Lindor is still batting just .225 on the campaign, but he's hit safely in nine straight contests and has posted a .375 batting average, two homers, four doubles and six RBI over that span. • Ozzie Albies reaches three teams, steals base
Ozzie Albies reached three times and stole a base in a loss Thursday to the Nationals.

Advice: Albies doubled, singled and drew a walk to complete that three-reach game. The stolen base is the fourth for the 27-year-old, and it’s possible we see him take off more often over the final 100-plus games of the season, but far from a guarantee. It’d also be nice to see more pop from a hitter that hit 33 homers last year, as he’s still stuck on three roundtrippers over 184 at-bats. Rotoworld Thursday, 7:00 pm

    • Francisco Lindor goes 4-for-4 with homer and steal
Francisco Lindor went 4-for-4 with a homer, two RBI and a stolen base in a 3-2 win Thursday over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Fantasy managers have to be thrilled seeing this one, as Lindor has been a massive disappointment a third of the way through 2024. The homer is the ninth of the season, and the stolen base gives the 30-year-old seven swipes through 2024. Lindor has gotten off to poor starts before only to finish hot, and there’s reason to believe that can happen again. It doesn’t make the previous two months any less frustrating, however. • J.P. Crawford walks twice, steals base in M’s loss
J.P. Crawford walked twice and stole a base on Thursday in the Mariners’ shutout loss at the hands of the Astros.

Advice: Crawford also made one of the highlight reel-worthy defensive plays of the entire season in the seventh inning of this one, flipping the ball to double-play partner Dylan Moore to rob Mauricio Dubón of a surefire single up the middle. The 29-year-old shortstop is batting .231 (9-for-39) with one homer and one steal since returning from the injured list back on May 20. Rotoworld Thursday, 3:45 pm

    • Ronald Acuña Jr. to undergo knee surgery Tuesday
Ronald Acuña Jr. will undergo surgery on Tuesday to repair a torn ACL in his left knee.

Advice: The procedure will be performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who performed Acuña’s other ACL surgery on his right knee back in 2021. The 26-year-old fantasy superstar There won’t be an official timetable for his return until he undergoes surgery next week as ElAttrache will determine at that time whether he suffered any additional structural damage to his knee, which would keep him sidelined much longer. If it winds up being a straightforward ACL surgery, there’s enough reason for fantasy managers to optimistically project Acuña to be ready for the outset of the 2025 campaign. • Nursing sore lat
Raley is absent from the Mariners' lineup Thursday due to a sore lat, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Advice: It offers an explanation as to why Raley was not starting against the Astros even with a right-hander on the mound. The hope seems to be that it will be only a brief absence, so consider Raley day-to-day for the time being. Seattle has Dominic Canzone in left field and Mitch Haniger in right Thursday versus Houston. Rotowire.com Thursday, 11:32 am

    • Luke Raley out Thursday with lat soreness
Luke Raley is not in the lineup for Thursday’s showdown against the Astros due to lat soreness.

Advice: The Mariners want to give Raley a chance to rest, so he’ll take a seat with Mitch Garver at DH and Mitch Haniger sliding to right field. Raley started the month hot, but he’s now gone 1-for-21 over his last seven games. Hopefully, the lat is the main reason behind the mini-slump, so a night or two off will allow him to get back on track. Rotoworld Thursday, 10:41 am

    • Not among starting nine
Raley is absent from the lineup for Thursday's game against the Astros.

Advice: It's the first time since May 7 that Raley wasn't in the lineup when the Mariners were facing a right-hander. Seattle is going with Dominic Canzone and Mitch Haniger as its corner outfield duo against Spencer Arrighetti. Rotowire.com Thursday, 10:07 am

    • Sitting after three straight starts
Chourio is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Cubs.

Advice: Chourio had started each of the previous three games, but two of those starts came while the Cubs sent left-handers Justin Steele and Shota Imanaga to the mound. The rookie outfielder will hit the bench Thursday against right-hander Jameson Taillon and still looks to be stuck in a short-side platoon role in the corner outfield with Sal Frelick.
