    • Records third steal Wednesday
Raley went 2-for-4 with an RBI single and a stolen base in a win over the Royals on Wednesday.

Advice: Raley delivered a timely single in the eighth inning that plated pinch runner Leonardo Rivas, extending the Mariners' lead back to two runs after Bobby Witt had brought the Royals within one in the top half of the frame. Raley's multi-hit effort was an extension of a torrid stretch at the plate for the offseason addition, one that's seen him generate a .435 average and 1.219 OPS over the last seven games. • Pops third homer
Raley went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Astros on Tuesday.

Advice: Raley continues to profile as one of the inconsistent Mariners' more reliable hitters after a slow start to his team tenure, with Tuesday's homer his second in as many games. Raley's season average and OPS are up to a solid .265 and .729, respectively, and he sports a .357/.419/.714 slash line over the 31 plate appearances encompassing his last nine games. • Powers offense in nightcap Tuesday
Vaughn went 2-for-3 with a walk, two home runs and four RBI in a 4-0 win over the Nationals during the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader.

Advice: After looking shaky in the matinee by going 0-for-4 with two strikeouts, Vaughn's bat roared to life in the nightcap as he crushed a three-run homer off Mitchell Parker in the third inning before adding a solo shot off Jackson Rutledge in the eighth. All three of Vaughn's long balls on the season have come in the last five games, and over his last seven contests the 26-year-old first baseman has gone 9-for-26 (.346) with three doubles and six RBI. • Andrew Vaughn slugs two homers in win over Nats
Andrew Vaughn crushed a pair of homers to power the White Sox to a 4-0 victory over the Nationals in the second game of Tuesday’s doubleheader.

Advice: Vaughn was a one-man wrecking crew in this one and appears to be coming out of his extended slump at the outset of the season with three homers over his last four contests. He took Nationals starter Parker Mitchell deep for a three-run shot in the third inning before capping off the multi-homer effort with an eighth-inning solo blast off rookie Jackson Rutledge. • Taking seat Tuesday
Burger is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Detroit.

Advice: Burger has had trouble finding his rhythm since returning from the injured list, going just 2-for-29 at the plate. He'll get a day off to reset. Tristan Gray will handle third base in Burger's stead. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 12:27 pm

    • Enjoys big game Monday
Raley went 3-for-4 with a home run, two total runs, three total RBI and a stolen base in Monday's 6-2 victory against Kansas City.

Advice: Raley put Seattle on the scoreboard in the second inning with a 432-foot, two-run blast to to center field, and he added a run-scoring single in the third. The 29-year-old was batting just .218 through the end of April, but he's now at .266 with a strong start to May. Though nine games this month, he's gone 9-for-24 (.375) with two long balls, six RBI and seven runs. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:38 pm

    • Luke Raley homers, plates three in win over Royals
Luke Raley homered, drove in three runs and stole a base Monday in a 6-2 win over the Royals.

Advice: Raley has been excellent in May, and this was easily his best game in a Mariner uniform. The outfielder scored a two-run homer off Brady Singer in the second inning, and he drove in another with an RBI single in the third. The outfielder also stole his second base of the season, and he’s athletic enough to project more if he can continue to get on base. At this point, it sure seems likely that Raley is going to see much more consistent playing time than he did to begin the year. Rotoworld Monday, 9:17 pm

    • Idle against lefty
Raley is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Raley will retreat to the bench for the series finale with southpaw Alex Wood on the hill for Oakland. Raley's platoon mate, Sam Haggerty, will draw the start in left field. Rotowire.com Sunday, 11:42 am

    • Pops first homer
Vaughn went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Friday against the Guardians.

Advice: Vaughn finally popped his first home run of the season when he took Pedro Avila deep in the eighth inning. He entered the game with only eight extra-base hits across 146 plate appearances, all of which were doubles. Overall, Vaughn is slashing just .196/.253/.275 across 150 plate appearances.
