    • Jackson Holliday tallies two hits on Friday at AAA
Orioles 2B/SS prospect Jackson Holliday went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI on Friday for Triple-A Norfolk.

Advice: Holliday is one of the few top fantasy prospects still healthy in the upper minors at the moment and he’s clearly benefitting from the extra seasoning in the upper minors following his early-season demotion, batting .263 with four homers and three steals in 30 games since April 27. • Loses to Rockies
Buehler (1-3) allowed four runs (three earned) on six hits and four walks while striking out seven over six innings, taking the loss Friday versus the Rockies.

Advice: Buehler gave up three runs in the third inning and a solo home run to Ezequiel Tovar in the fourth. While it wasn't a particularly sharp outing for Buehler, the Dodgers failed to support him with just five hits and two walks. He has two quality starts in five outings since returning from Tommy John surgery. Buehler is at a 4.32 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 24:7 K:BB over 25 innings this season. He's projected to make his next start on the road versus the Pirates. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:08 pm
    • Walker Buehler gives up three earned in defeat
Walker Buehler allowed four runs — three earned — in a loss Friday to the Rockies.

Advice: Buehler dealt with control issues, as he walked four while throwing 56-of-92 pitches for strikes. The 29-year-old allowed three runs in the third with run-scoring hits by Brendan Rodgers and Kris Bryant, and an inning later he allowed a solo shot to Ezequiel Tovar. It wasn’t a horrific start and Buehler did strike out seven, but a disappointing one considering the opponent. He’ll get the Pirates next week, assuming the rotation doesn’t change. • Goes deep again
Arenado went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Arenado has homered in each of his last two games. The third baseman's power numbers are still way down -- he's at five homers and a .379 slugging percentage through 53 contests -- but his recent stretch could be a sign of him heating up. On the year, he's batting .257 with 26 RBI, 22 runs scored, 10 doubles and no stolen bases over 226 plate appearances. Not counting the COVID-shortened 2020 season, Arenado hasn't hit less than 26 home runs since 2014, but he needs to get going to hit that mark this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:03 pm

    • Set for surgery Tuesday
Lee (shoulder) will undergo surgery Tuesday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: The procedure will address the torn labrum in Lee's left shoulder, which he sustained May 12 against the Reds. Before the injury, Lee was slashing .262/.310/.331 with two home runs and eight RBI over 145 plate appearances. He should be ready to go for the start of the 2025 season. • Tagged with first blown save
Miller was charged with a blown save in Thursday's 6-5 loss to Tampa Bay in 12 innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on one hit and three walks over two innings. He struck out four.

Advice: Jose Siri's game-tying homer in the bottom of the ninth was the first given up by Miller this year while also resulting in his first blown save in 12 chances. Despite Thursday's hiccup, it's been an excellent start to the season for the 26-year-old Miller -- his ERA now sits at 2.08 with a 0.88 WHIP and 51 strikeouts, the most among qualified relief pitchers, through 26 innings. • Miller blows first save of the season Thursday
Mason Miller blew the save against the Rays on Thursday.

Advice: Miller entered the ninth inning with a 4-3 lead and allowed a solo home run to Jose Siri. It was his first blown save of the season. Miller had basically been untouchable all season as he converted his first 11 saves. His ERA is now 2.08 on the year. Miller remains one of the most dominant relievers in all of baseball and would likely remain in a closing role if traded to a contender later this year.

    • Correa has three RBI in win Thursday
Carlos Correa went 1-for-4 with a triple, a run scored and three RBI against the Royals on Thursday.

Advice: Correa cleared the bases with a triple in the sixth inning that put the Twins ahead for good. Despite missing some time with an injury, he’s quietly having a nice season. Correa is hitting .259 with a .187 ISO, 22 runs and 18 RBI in 39 games this year. Rotoworld Thursday, 1:09 pm

    • Not starting Thursday
Diaz isn't in the Astros' lineup for Thursday's game against the Mariners, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Diaz has slashed just .207/.221/.268 since the beginning of May, and he'll now sit down for the final game of Houston's series in Seattle. Victor Caratini will take over behind the plate and bat seventh. Rotowire.com Thursday, 10:31 am
