      Advice: We sure do miss the Peralta of April. He gave up 10 hits tonight, which matches his total from both his first three starts and his second three starts. In fact. he had never before surrendered 10 hits in an outing. His velocity has held steady, and he got 16 missed swings tonight, but the Brewers couldn’t pick him up in this one.       Peralta (4-4) yielded six runs on 10 hits and a walk over 5.1 innings Friday, striking out six and taking a loss against the Reds.

      Advice: Peralta gave up two home runs in the loss, including a two-run shot by Jeimer Candelario in the fifth inning. He forced 16 whiffs Friday, marking the 12th time he's reached double digits this season. Peralta has posted a 7.90 ERA through three starts this month, bumping his season ERA up to 4.38 through 76 innings. He's now 1-4 since the start of May.       Hunter Brown delivered a dominant performance in Friday night’s victory over the Tigers, racking up nine strikeouts over seven innings of shutout baseball.

      Advice: The 25-year-old right-hander didn’t walk a batter on the night and all five of the hits that he allowed were singles. Brown generated 15 swings and misses on 96 pitches on the night — four or more on each of his sinker, cutter and slider — while registering a strong CSW of 34 percent.
