    • Ben Rice moved into cleanup spot by Yankees
The Yankees have swapped Ben Rice and Alex Verdugo in Wednesday’s lineup, with Rice moving into the cleanup spot.

Advice: Rice has hit like a cleanup man with his .267/.348/.567 line to date. Verdugo has been swinging like a No. 9 hitter, but maybe the change will be nice; he was a solid leadoff man for Boston last year. The problem for the Yankees right now is that Aaron Judge, Juan Soto and Rice are the team’s only semi-regulars with even .310 OBPs. Rotoworld Wednesday, 12:46 pm

    • Luis Campusano again sits for Padres
Luis Campusano is on the bench Wednesday for the fourth time in five games since coming off the injured list.

Advice: It’s understandable that the Padres started hot-hitting Kyle Higashioka over Campusano in three of the previous four games, but they’re using Brett Sullivan over him tonight. It makes one wonder why they brought Campusano back from his rehab stint so quickly, especially since he was just 2-for-15 in four games in A-ball before being activated. He does have one option year left, so if the Padres intend to stay on this path, they might want to send him down to get steady at-bats for a few weeks. Rotoworld Wednesday, 12:14 pm
    • Slugs fifth homer
Rice went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run Tuesday in a loss to the Rays.

Advice: Rice brought New York to within a run with his two-run shot in the seventh frame, but the team was unable to score again. The rookie first baseman continues to thrive in the majors, as he's slashing .267/.348/.567 with five home runs, three doubles, nine runs and 14 RBI over just 19 contests covering 69 plate appearances. All five of Rice's homers and 10 of his RBI have come over his past five games. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:41 am

    • Out of lineup for early game
Jeffers is absent from the lineup for the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader versus the White Sox.

Advice: Christian Vazquez will start at catcher in the first game of the day, with Jeffers set to return to the lineup for the second contest. Jeffers comes into play Wednesday having slugged two home runs and driven in nine runs over his last eight tilts. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:12 am
    • Lifts grand slam in rout
Bart went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in Tuesday's 12-2 win over the Brewers.

Advice: Bart blew the game open in the sixth inning with his grand slam, and the Pirates never looked back. It was just his third hit over seven games since he returned from a month-long absence with a left thumb sprain. Bart is slashing .241/.330/.468 with five homers, 17 RBI, nine runs scored and three doubles across 91 plate appearances this season, and he's gaining playing time over Yasmani Grandal -- Tuesday was Bart's fourth straight start. • Ben Rice homers in loss to Rays
Ben Rice went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in a loss to the Rays on Tuesday.

Advice: The left-handed Rice hit his home run off left-handed reliever Colin Poche, which is always nice to see. It was Rice’s fifth home run on the season and while it was his only hit on the day, the rookie has shown a tremendous eye at the plate, which has given him the on-base skills to force the Yankees to move him to the lead-off spot. Right now, he’s also giving them no reason to take him out of the spot, which gives him solid fantasy value hitting ahead of Aaron Judge and Juan Soto. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:07 pm

    • Idle Tuesday
Campusano isn't in the Padres' lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mariners.

Advice: Tuesday will mark the third time Campusano has missed a start behind the plate since being activated from the injured list Friday. Kyle Higashioka, who has been on a hot streak recently, will once again start at catcher and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 4:06 pm
    • Idle Tuesday
Jeffers is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the White Sox.

Advice: Jeffers and Christian Vazquez have alternated catching duties since the start of June, and Tuesday happens to be Vazquez's turn behind the dish. Jeffers is 7-for-26 with a pair of home runs in his last seven games. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 12:52 pm
    • Taking seat Tuesday
Fry is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Tigers.

Advice: Fry is absent from the starting nine for the second time in three games, ceding DH duties to Steven Kwan on Tuesday while Angel Martinez plays left field. Fry is slashing .300/.406/.500 with eight home runs across 229 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 12:39 pm
