    • Perfect for save No. 15
Iglesias picked up the save Sunday against Oakland, tossing a perfect inning with no strikeouts.

Advice: Iglesias needed just nine pitches to retire Zack Gelof, Kyle McCann and Max Shuemann in order. The 34-year-old is 15-for-17 on save chances this season and has allowed one hit in his last five innings of work. Overall, Iglesias has the fourth most saves in the NL and owns a 2.42 ERA through 22.1 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 8:14 pm

    • Notches fifth save
Paul Sewald picked up the save Sunday against the Mets, striking out one in a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Sewald has been nigh unhittable lately, allowing just one baserunner over his past six appearances. The 34-year-old veteran has not allowed an earned run since his season debut back on May 7 and he is now a perfect five-for-five in save opportunities with a microscopic 1.08 ERA and 0.48 WHIP in 8.1 innings. • Tigers will option Spencer Torkelson to Triple-A
Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports that the Tigers plan to option slumping first baseman Spencer Torkelson to Triple-A Toledo.

Advice: Torkelson, the top overall selection from the 2020 draft, has slashed a miserable .201/.266/.330 through his first 230 plate appearances with only four homers, 18 RBI and a 56/16 K/BB ratio. He has been especially bad as of late, mired in a 3-for-33 (.091) funk with a 13/3 K/BB ratio over his last nine games. Justyn-Henry Malloy will be promoted from Triple-A Toledo to take Torkelson’s spot on the Tigers’ active roster. Rotoworld Today, 5:40 pm
    • Heading to Triple-A
The Tigers are expected to option Torkelson to Triple-A Toledo on Monday, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Advice: Torkelson was held out of the lineup for two of the Tigers' last three games after struggling to a .201/.266/.330 slash line with four home runs, 18 RBI and 24 runs scored over 229 plate appearances in 54 games with the Tigers this season. The first baseman will look to hit the reset button with Toledo before potentially returning to Detroit's major-league roster down the road. In the meantime, Justyn-Henry Malloy is set to be called up from Triple-A to replace Torkelson on the 26-man active roster. Rotowire.com Today, 5:21 pm
    • Limited to light throwing
Senga (shoulder/triceps) took part in light-to-moderate throwing on the field Saturday, Pat Ragazzo of SI.com reports.

Advice: Mets manager Carlos Mendoza characterized Senga's throwing as being mechanical in nature, but the activity nonetheless represents a step in the right direction after the Mets shut down the right-hander in late May, when he received a cortisone injection to address inflammation in his triceps. Senga initially opened the season on the injured list with a right posterior shoulder capsule strain before he experienced tightness in his triceps in May. Even though he's resumed his throwing program, Senga is without a clear timeline for a return. Given the multiple checkpoints he'll need to hit in his rehab prior to being activated from the 60-day IL, Senga looks unlikely to be activated until at least July. • Paul Sewald grabs save
Paul Sewald pitched a clean ninth inning to earn the save against the Mets on Sunday. He struck out one batter.

Advice: Sewald seems to relish the opportunity to close games against the organization that gave up on him and did so on back-to-back days this weekend. This was the first time all season the Diamondbacks used Sewald on consecutive days as he continues to get more comfortable since returning from injury. Rotoworld Today, 1:47 pm
    • Raisel Iglesias earns 15th save
Raisel Iglesias pitched a clean ninth inning on Sunday against the Athletics to earn the save.

Advice: Iglesias grabbed another save, but once again did not strike a batter out. His 18.6 K% entering play Sunday is by far the lowest for any reliever with at least 10 saves and should give some concern moving forward. Rotoworld Today, 1:26 pm

    • Out against righty Sunday
Gimenez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Advice: Gimenez took a seat Saturday against southpaw Mitchell Parker, but the lefty-hitting infielder will remain on the bench for the series finale versus the Nationals even while a right-hander (Jake Irvin) takes the bump for Washington. The Guardians may have just been looking to get an extended break for Gimenez, who had started in every game dating back to May 10 before his back-to-back absences. Daniel Schneemann was called up from Triple-A Columbus earlier Sunday and will pick up his first MLB start in place of Gimenez at the keystone. Rotowire.com Today, 10:33 am

    • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. playing third base Sunday
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is playing third base and hitting third Sunday against the Pirates.

Advice: It’s the first time Guerrero Jr. has drawn a start at third base since 2019. The 25-year-old has been working at the position during pregame festivities all season, but now he has a chance to man the hot corner for real. This will be interesting to watch, and it’d obviously be a major boon to his fantasy profile if he can get enough games at the position to qualify. Rotoworld Today, 8:49 am
