    • Slugs another homer
Judge went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to Houston on Thursday.

Advice: Judge's eighth-inning solo shot was a massive one, as it traveled an estimated 473 feet. The slugger has turned on his power of late, swatting three homers and driving in six runs over his past four contests. He's now tied with Juan Soto for the team lead with nine home runs and ranks second with 25 RBI on the campaign. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:33 pm
    • Aaron Judge clobbers gargantuan 473-foot homer
Aaron Judge walloped a 473-foot solo homer on Thursday in the Yankees’ loss to the Astros.

Advice: Judge’s tape-measure shot to left-center field off Astros relief ace Ryan Pressly slashed New York’s deficit to just a single run in the eighth inning. The 32-year-old former AL MVP Award winner has started to heat up at the dish with three big flies in his last four contests. It’s going to take a while for his surface stats to fully recover from his frosty start, but he’s up to .236/.362/.493 with 19 runs scored, nine homers, 25 RBI and two steals through 175 plate appearances. • Struggles with command vs. Arizona
Greene did not factor into the decision Thursday against the Diamondbacks, allowing three runs on four hits and five walks over five innings. He struck out six.

Advice: Greene's final line ultimately could've looked a lot worse after he issued a season-high five walks. The 24-year-old Greene has given up nine free passes over his last two starts (10.2 innings), though he's managed to hold opponents to just three runs in that span. Overall, he's 1-2 on the season with a 1.24 WHIP and 53:21 K:BB through eight starts (45.1 innings). Greene's currently slated for a rematch with the Diamondbacks on the road in his next outing. • Idle versus lefty
Melendez isn't in the Royals' lineup Thursday against the Angels.

Advice: Lefty Reid Detmers will start on the mound for Los Angeles, sending the left-handed bat of Melendez into Kansas City's dugout for the beginning of the game. Dairon Blanco will instead serve as the Royals' left fielder and bat eighth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:18 pm

    • Hunter Greene strikes out six, walks five in loss
Hunter Greene surrendered three runs in five innings with six strikeouts in a no-decision Thursday versus the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Greene allowed four hits, but he also issued five walks with 40-of-84 pitches landing outside of the strike zone. The right-hander had his swing-and-miss stuff, and he was able to work around those free passes with a scoreless second-through-fifth inning. The free passes hurt the WHIP, but this start could have been a lot worse. Greene gets a rematch with Arizona next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:28 pm
    • Allows three runs in win
Hicks (3-1) earned the win over the Rockies on Wednesday, allowing three runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five over five frames.

Advice: Hicks pitched well for most of the contest and allowed just one run up until the fifth inning. However, that's where the right-hander would run into trouble after allowing four consecutive batters to reach with one out, ultimately leading to two more runs coming across for Colorado. The seven hits and three runs allowed both marked season highs for Hicks, who has now failed to go beyond five innings in back-to-back starts. He now holds a 5.00 ERA over two May starts to go along with an 8:6 K:BB. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:56 am

    • Continues productive stretch
Judge went 3-for-5 with a home run, two doubles and three total RBI against Houston in a 9-4 win Wednesday.

Advice: Judge tagged Houston pitching for three extra-base hits, the first time he's accomplished that feat in a game this season. The slugger swatted a solo shot in the third inning and knocked in two more runs with a double in the sixth. Judge is coming on quickly after a slow start to the campaign -- he's in the midst of a five-game hitting streak during which he's gone 9-for-18 with two homers, four doubles, four walks, six RBI, six runs and a stolen base. • Jordan Hicks strikes out five in win vs. Rockies
Jordan Hicks allowed three runs with five strikeouts over five innings in a win over the Rockies on Wednesday.

Advice: After a clean first inning, a triple and a wild pitch brought the first run in to score for the Rockies in the second. Hicks ran into more trouble in the fifth, giving up two runs on four hits and a walk. His day was done after five frames on 92 pitches. He struck out five. The 27-year-old right-hander has enjoyed an early breakout as a starter, posting a 2.30 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, and a 35/16 K/BB ratio across 43 innings. Hicks will take on the Dodgers in San Francisco on Monday. Rotoworld Wednesday, 8:30 pm

    • Gets back in win column
Singer (3-1) earned the win Wednesday against Milwaukee, allowing one run on five hits and two walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out four.

Advice: Singer tallied his first win in five starts, yielding one run for a third consecutive outing. He settled in nicely after allowing doubles to the first two batters he faced, keeping the Brewers off the scoreboard following the first frame. Singer has allowed more than two runs in just one start this season and owns a 2.36 ERA with 46 strikeouts across 45.2 innings. He's lined up for a start in Seattle on Monday.
