    • Not in Wednesday's lineup
Smith is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Marlins.

Advice: The Dodgers are playing a day game after a night game, so it makes sense to give Smith a day to rest his legs. Austin Barnes will do the catching for Gavin Stone on Wednesday as the Dodgers go for the series sweep. Rotowire.com Today, 9:09 am

    • Stymies Rockies at Coors
Harrison (3-1) earned the win over the Rockies on Tuesday, tossing seven shutout innings while allowing four hits and two walks. He struck out two.

Advice: Harrison twirled another gem Tuesday night, this time in the hitter-friendly Coors Field. He tossed a career-best seven scoreless frames and has now allowed just one run over his last 18 innings pitched. Harrison battled control issues in Triple-A but seems to have shrugged off any concerns thus far. Through eight starts, Harrison has gone at least six innings and issued two or less walks five times. He's now down to a 3.20 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 40:12 K:BB in 45 innings and projects for a matchup at home against the Reds over the weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 7:09 am
    • On base four times in win
Lowe went 2-for-4 with two walks, a double, two RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 15-8 win over Oakland.

Advice: Lowe, who has yet to have a day off since returning from an oblique injury in mid-April, has reached base safely 15 times in 16 games. The first baseman leads the team with a .429 on-base percentage and possesses a career-high walk rate of 15.7 percent. Rotowire.com Today, 5:05 am

    • Plays hero with ninth-inning homer
Adames went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run during Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Royals.

Advice: Adames stepped up to the plate with Gary Sanchez on first and William Contreras on second with two outs down 5-3 and smacked a laser over the left field wall for the go-ahead homer. The long ball was Adames' fourth in the last seven games, a stretch in which he's racked up 12 RBI and scored six times. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:24 pm
    • Kyle Harrison combines on shutout of Rockies
Kyle Harrison pitched four-hit ball for seven innings and combined with two relievers on a 5-0 shutout of the Rockies on Tuesday.

Advice: Ryan Walker and Camilo Doval, who hadn’t pitched in five days, finished up the Giants’ shutout. Harrison struck out just two tonight and gave up a pair of 390-foot flies to Ezequiel Tovar and Jordan Beck, but he was never stressed. The win moves him to 3-1 with a 3.20 ERA. He’ll work at home against the Reds on Sunday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:41 pm
    • Willy Adames homers in ninth to lead Brewers
Willy Adames hit a three-run homer in the top of the ninth to propel the Brewers to a 6-5 win over the Royals on Tuesday.

Advice: The homer was Adames’s seventh through 35 games and pushed him up to 25 RBI. He’s typically a slow starter, so this early season performance has been particularly encouraging. He’s at .257/.346/.463 right now. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:49 pm
    • Rafaela drives in one run on two-hit night
Ceddanne Rafaela went 2-for-4 with one RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Braves.

Advice: Rafaela singled in the sixth with the bases loaded to score Vaughn Grissom, tying the game at 2-2 after a Reese McGuire walk forced home their first run of the evening. Rafaela is slashing a meager .211/.255/.379 on the year but is batting .263 over the last two weeks. He’s heating up a bit after getting off to a slow start, but shouldn’t be counted on in fantasy outside of the most desperate situations. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:16 pm
    • Playing catch
Eovaldi (groin) was seen playing catch ahead of Tuesday's game against the Athletics, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Advice: Manager Bruce Bochy provided a positive update Monday with news that the right-hander isn't dealing with a sports hernia, and Eovaldi is back to playing catch a day later. Barring any sort of setback, the 34-year-old could be good to go without needing a rehab assignment once he clears the 15-day IL on May 18. In the meantime, Jose Urena and Jack Leiter will be deployed as starters when necessary. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:41 am

    • Mixed results in season debut
Buehler allowed three runs on six hits and no walks while striking out four batters over four innings in a no-decision against Miami on Monday.

Advice: Buehler had a favorable matchup in his first major-league start since mid-June of 2022, as he squared off against the team with the third-worst record in baseball. That didn't seem to matter early, though, as the Marlins jumped on the right-hander for a pair of first-inning runs on a trio of singles. However, Buehler's fastball velocity averaged a solid 96.6 mph in the frame, per Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register, which foreshadowed him settling down to allow just one more run over the remainder of his outing. Not surprisingly, the 29-year-old wasn't pushed too hard in his return to the majors, as he was pulled after 77 pitches and four frames rather than being allowed to complete the fifth and qualify for the win. Assuming Buehler comes out of the start without any setbacks, Monday's outing will likely serve as a foundation on which he can build up to a higher pitch count moving forward. He's tentatively lined up to make his next start on the road in San Diego this weekend. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:22 pm
