    • Beginning five-game suspension
Peralta began serving his five-game suspension for intentionally throwing at Ray's Jose Siri on April 30.

Advice: Peralta initially opted to appeal the league's five-game suspension, but the right-hander elected to drop the appeal following his start against the Cubs on Sunday, per Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. This means Peralta will not end up missing a start and will pitch Saturday against the Cardinals. He has a 3-1 record over seven starts with a 3.49 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 50:15 K:BB over 38.2 innings this season. Rotowire.com 19 minutes ago

    • Garrett (shoulder) whiffs 13 in rehab start
Braxton Garrett (shoulder) struck out 13 batters over 5 2/3 innings in a rehab start Monday in the Florida Complex League.

Advice: Garrett didn’t allow a run and gave up just one hit. It’s really not fair to FCL hitters they had to face a talent like the 26-year-old, but the Marlins wanted Garrett to get one more rehab start. His next outing should come at the MLB level. Rotoworld Today, 1:30 pm

    • Strikes out 13 in rehab start
Garrett (shoulder) struck out 13 batters and allowed one hit and one walk over 5.2 scoreless innings in his rehab start Monday for the Marlins' rookie-level Florida Complex League affiliate.

Advice: Though he was facing off against a lineup consisting mostly of teenage hitters, Garrett was dominant nonetheless in what was likely his fifth and final minor-league rehab start. Garrett, who has been on the 15-day injured list all season while recovering from a left shoulder impingement, will likely be activated this weekend to start Saturday or Sunday versus the Phillies for what will be his 2024 debut with the Marlins. • Game-winning long ball Sunday
Raleigh went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in a win over the Astros on Sunday.

Advice: The 27-year-old cleared the fences for the second straight game, launching a tie-breaking homer in the ninth inning that would turn out to be the difference in the contest. Raleigh has now reached safely in four the last five games, but he's still carrying a lackluster .210 average and .288 on-base percentage across 118 plate appearances. • Swats homer Sunday
Judge went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a double and a walk in Sunday's 5-2 victory versus Detroit.

Advice: A day after he was ejected from a game for the first time in his career, Judge belted a solo shot off Tarik Skubal in his first at-bat of the contest. The slugger added a sixth-inning double to notch just his second game with multiple extra-base hits this season. Judge is still slashing a meager .220/.350/.439 on the campaign, but he's batting .355 with three of his seven homers and seven of his 20 RBI over his past nine games. Rotowire.com Today, 8:22 am
    • Starting to hit for power
Arozarena went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and a stolen base Sunday against the Mets.

Advice: Arozarena took Edwin Diaz yard in the ninth inning to tie the game, tallying his fifth home run of the season and second in his last three starts. He also swiped his fifth base of the year and has yet to be caught. It's been an ugly start to the season for Arozarena, and even with this burst of power, he has failed to record multiple hits in a game since March 30. The slow start has been the result of some bad luck -- he has a .165 BABIP -- but he's also struck out at an elevated 29.8 percent clip across 141 plate appearances. • Leaves yard in Sunday's win
Hernandez went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's 5-1 win over Atlanta.

Advice: Hernandez homered for the second time in three games and has tallied at least a hit in 10-of-12 games since April 23. The 31-year-old is slashing .252/.320/.468 with eight homers, 25 RBI, 23 runs and a 13:49 BB:K in 153 plate appearances. Hernandez is showing increased signs of power from a year ago but strikeouts still remain an issue. His 49 strikeouts are currently the fourth-most in baseball, as he's striking out 32 percent of the time. Rotowire.com Today, 7:19 am
    • Report: Tanner Scott could be next Marlin traded
According to Buster Olney, sources told him that Tanner Scott is “the guy on their roster you’d look at” but Josh Bell could also interest teams as well.

Advice: After the Marlins traded Luis Arraez this weekend, assuming a firesale would follow was only logical. Scott was electric as the closer for the Marlins last year, but has seen some control issues resurface this season. He has a 2.77 ERA and four saves, but he also has 14 walks in 13 innings. If he were to be traded, he would likely serve as a setup man, and the Marlins could turn back to A.J. Puk in the closer’s role which means Puk could be worth a speculative add in leagues. Buster Olney’s article also mentioned that Josh Bell and Jake Burger could interest some teams in need of offensive punch. Rotoworld Today, 7:18 am
    • Getting one more rehab tune-up
Garrett (shoulder) is scheduled to cover around six innings or 75 pitches Monday in a rehab start with the Marlins' rookie-level Florida Complex League affiliate, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Garrett made the fourth start of his rehab assignment this past Wednesday with Triple-A Jacksonville and looked sharp over five scoreless innings, scattering one hit and three walks while striking out three. Since he was lifted after 61 pitches, Garrett will need one more outing in the minors to get fully stretched out for starting duty before the Marlins are comfortable bringing him back from the 15-day injured list. Assuming Monday's rehab outing in rookie ball goes smoothly, Garrett should be activated this weekend and will likely slot into the rotation either Saturday or Sunday against the Phillies.
