    • Hit by comebacker
Suarez was removed from Saturday's game against the Cardinals with a left hand contusion after being struck by a 106.1 MPH comebacker in the second inning, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Suarez didn't allow a baserunner and struck out two hitters over two innings.

Advice: Early reports indicate that Suarez is only dealing with a bruised throwing hand after being hit by a comebacker off the bat of Alec Burleson on Saturday. After Suarez's two perfect innings, Jose Ruiz will take over on the mound. The Phillies will likely continue to evaluate Suarez throughout the evening to ensure that the injury is merely a contusion and nothing long term. Thankfully for Suarez managers, the Phillies have back-to-back days off next week and the ace's next start is scheduled for June 8. Rotowire.com 30 minutes ago

    • Ozuna hits 17th home run in loss Saturday
Marcell Ozuna went 2-for-5 with two runs scored, a home run and four RBI against the Athletics on Saturday.

Advice: The home run was Ozuna’s 17th of the season. Only Aaron Judge, Kyle Tucker and Gunnar Henderson have more. Only Jose Ramirez has more than Ozuna’s 53 RBI this year. The 33-year-old designated hitter is having the best season of his career at the plate. Rotoworld 43 minutes ago

    • Mitchell Parker allows three runs in loss to Guardians
Mitchell Parker allowed three runs with five strikeouts over 5 2/3 innings in a loss to the Guardians on Saturday.

Advice: Parker got into some trouble in the first inning, issuing two walks to load the bases before Kyle Manzardo brought two runners in to score on a single. José Ramirez would score a third run for the Guardians in the third inning on a wild pitch. Parker would pitch into the sixth without allowing another run, leaving with two outs and two runners on at 98 pitches. He struck out five on the day. The 24-year-old left-hander will take a 3.60 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and a 43/12 K/BB ratio across 50 innings into a home matchup against the Braves on Thursday. Rotoworld Today, 3:46 pm
    • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. swipes base in loss to Bucs
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. swiped his second base of the season and scored the Blue Jays’ lone run in Saturday’s loss to the Pirates.

Advice: The 25-year-old slugger smacked a one-out single off of Mitch Keller in the sixth inning, advanced to second on a line drive off the bat of Bo Bichette and scored the Jays’ only run on a two-out RBI single by Dan Vogelbach. He also drew a walk in the opening inning and swiped second base, but was left stranded there. Guerrero finished the day 2-for-3 and is now slashing .292/.390/.406 with five homers, 25 RBI and a pair of stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Today, 2:58 pm
    • Day off Saturday
Heim is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus the Marlins.

Advice: Heim will take a seat after he went 3-for-22 with a double, two RBI and a run scored while starting the team's last six contests. Andrew Knizner will take over behind the plate and bat ninth against Miami. Rotowire.com Today, 10:44 am

    • Blown save Friday
McArthur took a blown save in Friday's 11-8 loss to the Padres, allowing four runs on four hits without retiring a batter.

Advice: McArthur inherited a brutal situation from John Schreiber, who left the bases loaded with no outs in the eighth inning. McArthur let all three inherited runners score after allowing four straight singles, and Will Klein was unable to slow the Padres' rally. While he's still a high-leverage option, McArthur was awful in May with a 9.00 ERA and 1.90 WHIP over 10 innings while going 4-for-7 in save conversations. He's at a 5.32 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 23:3 K:BB through 23.2 innings, and he's giving up too many hits to find long-term success, though the Royals lack relievers who have pitched well over the last month. • Continues hot hitting
Profar went 3-for-5 with two RBI in Friday's 11-8 victory versus the Royals.

Advice: Profar plated a run with a single in the sixth inning and added another RBI knock in the Padres' nine-run eighth. The veteran is working on a modest four-game hitting streak, during which he's gone 7-for-15 with a home run and five RBI. Profar's .330 batting average this season is second in the majors behind only teammate Luis Arraez (.342). Rotowire.com Today, 9:10 am
    • Ronal Blanco takes first loss of 2024
Ronel Blanco took his first loss Friday after giving up four runs in 4 2/3 innings against the Twins.

Advice: Blanco walked three and gave up a two-run homer to Trevor Larnach. Apart from the time he was ejected for his sticky stuff, this is the first time this year that Blanco has failed to complete five innings. He’s still playable in mixed leagues for now, particularly since he’s about to face the Royals and White Sox in two starts next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:40 pm
