      Braves recalled LHP Ray Kerr from Triple-A Gwinnett.

      Advice: The 29-year-old will join the Braves after the team placed Tyler Matzek on the 15-day injured list with an elbow injury. Kerr posted a 4.33 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and a 35/9 K/BB ratio across his 27 frames with the Padres last season. He’ll add to Atlanta’s bullpen depth while he’s with the team.
