    • Homers in blowout win
Westburg went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 11-1 win over the Reds.

Advice: Westburg did his damage early, lifting a two-run blast in the first inning. He had gone 0-for-7 over the first two games of the weekend series in Cincinnati. The homer was his first since April 21 and his sixth of the year. The infielder has added a strong .286/.336/.513 slash line with 23 RBI, 18 runs scored, four steals, five doubles and two triples through 32 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:05 pm

    • Goes yard again
Tucker went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run during Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Mariners.

Advice: Tucker swatted his fourth home run in his last eight games, tagging Bryce Miller for a two-run homer in the sixth frame. The left-handed-hitter is tied with Tyler O'Neill for the fifth-most home runs in baseball. During his last eight outings, Tucker has amassed six RBI and eight runs scored while going 7-for-28 (.250) at the plate. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:21 pm

    • Jordan Westburg homers in win over Reds
Jordan Westburg went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in a win over the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: Westburg jumped on Nick Lodolo in the first inning with a 378-foot home run that left the bat at 101.9 mph. It was Westburg’s sixth home run of the season to go along with 23 RBIs. It’s been a breakout month for the 25-year-old, but he’s seen his triple slash fall to .286/.336/.513 after going 6-for-28 over his last seven games. The quality of contact gains are real but Westburg is swinging and missing a lot more this season, so the batting average may continue to slip a little bit in the coming weeks. • Steven Kwan (hamstring) heading to injured list
Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports that the Guardians plan to place Steven Kwan (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list prior to Monday’s game against the Tigers.

Advice: Top prospect Kyle Manzardo will be promoted from Triple-A Columbus in a corresponding move to replace him on the active roster. Kwan exited Saturday’s game against the Angels with tightness in his left hamstring and underwent an MRI to determine the severity of the issue. The result of that exam is not yet known, so it’s hard to speculate just how much time the 26-year-old outfielder may stand to miss. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:27 pm

    • Reaches double digits in saves
Clase picked up the save Sunday against the Angels, striking out two over a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Clase made quick work of Willie Calhoun, Brandon Drury and Matt Thaiss on Sunday, needing just 10 pitches to retire the side and pick up his 10th save of the campaign. Clase is one of five closers in double figures in the saves category and has walked just one batter across 17.1 innings of action. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:07 pm
    • Move to IL coming
Kwan (hamstring) will be placed on the injured list Monday, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.

Advice: The 26-year-old left Saturday's game due to left hamstring tightness and will now be sidelined for at least the next week and a half. The results of Kwan's MRI aren't yet known, so it's unclear exactly how long he'll be sidelined. Prospect Kyle Manzardo will be joining the Guardians for his first taste of the big leagues in Kwan's absence. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:39 pm

    • Jeimer Candelario (shin) scratched from lineup
Jeimer Candelario has been scratched from the lineup Sunday with a bruised left shin.

Advice: Candelario fouled a ball off his shin Saturday, and the Reds will give the 30-year-old a day of rest as a precaution. Santiago Espinal is now starting in Candelario’s absence. He should be considered day-to-day. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:28 am

    • Scratched with shin contusion
Candelario was scratched from Sunday's lineup against the Orioles due to a left shin contusion, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Candelario was penciled in at third base but won't start as scheduled due to the injury. He'll have Monday's team off day to rest up before Tuesday's series opener versus Arizona. Santiago Espinal will step in at the hot corner Sunday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:28 am

    • Three hits in loss
Estrada went 3-for-5 with one RBI and one run scored in Saturday's 14-3 loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Estrada has found some consistency in May, going 7-for-17 (.412) over the first four games of the month. He's added two doubles and four RBI in that short stretch. He started slowly, but the second baseman is now up to a respectable .254/.270/.426 slash line with four home runs, 17 RBI, 13 runs scored, one stolen base, seven doubles and one triple over 126 plate appearances.
