    • Smashes long ball in loss
Kim went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run against Colorado in a loss Thursday.

Advice: Kim's third-inning blast gave San Diego a short-lived three-run lead. The long ball was his fourth of the season and just his second extra-base hit over his past eight contests. Kim has added 17 RBI, 17 runs, seven steals and a .238/.339/.436 slash line through 119 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:12 pm

    • Perfect for save No. 3
Munoz pitched a perfect ninth inning against the Rangers to earn a save.

Advice: Munoz picked up his first save since April 6, making quick work of Wyatt Langford, Travis Jankowski and Jonah Heim to close out the Mariners' win. He's now 3-for-4 in save chances this season and Thursday's outing could give him more leeway with Ryne Stanek breathing down his back for save chances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:45 pm
    • Clobbers first-inning homer
Perez went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run during Thursday's 2-1 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Although Thursday's game was called after five innings due to poor weather, Perez managed to make an impact, swatting a two-run shot off Jose Berrios in the first frame. Over the Royals last two series', Perez is batting .435 with eight RBI and one strikeout across 27 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:49 pm
    • Salvador Perez powers Royals past Blue Jays
Salvador Perez blasted a two-run homer on Thursday, powering the Royals to a 2-1 win over the Blue Jays in a rain-shortened five-inning affair.

Advice: Perez’s two-run blast off Toronto starter José Berríos wound up being enough for Kansas City as the two teams waited out a nearly four-hour rain delay before the contest was finally called. The 33-year-old ironman is up to seven round-trippers on the season already and figures to cross the 30-homer threshold, if he can stay healthy. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:21 pm
    • Returns to action
India started at designated hitter and went 0-for-4 in Thursday's 5-0 loss to the Phillies.

Advice: India, who made his first appearance since Saturday after dealing with an illness, went hitless for the seventh time in the last nine contests. He entered the game in a 4-for-42 slump over the past 13 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:16 pm
    • Ha-Seong Kim swats two-run homer vs. Rockies
Ha-Seong Kim hit a two-run homer Thursday against the Rockies while going 1-for-4.

Advice: Kim swatted a two-run homer in the third inning, and it’s the fourth homer of the season for the shortstop. The 28-year-old has shown some pop in the early portion of the season, and he’s also added seven stolen bases for good measure. The .240 average leaves a bit to be desired, for those looking for something to complain about. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:17 pm

    • Zack Wheeler stymies Reds in win
Zack Wheeler threw six shutout innings in a 5-0 win over the Reds, allowing just one hit while striking out eight.

Advice: Wheeler did walk four batters on the day but he also posted an impressive 36 percent whiff rate and 33 percent CSW. He beat the Reds with heat today, getting the most whiffs on both his four-seamer and sinker, and got only a 17 percent chase rate. Basically, he came at the Reds in the zone and they weren’t able to handle it on Thursday. The effort lowered his season ERA to 1.93 and he’ll look to keep it going in a much easier matchup against the Angels next time out. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:17 pm
    • Andrés Muñoz hurls scoreless ninth for save
Andrés Muñoz fired a scoreless ninth to preserve a win for the Mariners on Thursday while picking up a save.

Advice: Muñoz needed just eight pitches to get through the inning, as the Rangers were aggressive against the 25-year-old. It’s the third save of the season for the right-hander, and he lowers his ERA to a solid 2.89 with the scoreless frame. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:59 pm
    • Second straight one-hitter
Wheeler (2-3) earned the win Thursday against the Reds, allowing one hit and four walks over six scoreless innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: Wheeler's allowed just one hit in consecutive starts, as he's held opponents scoreless in 13.1 consecutive innings, posting 16 strikeouts in that span. The 33-year-old right-hander has arguably been the top fantasy starting option early in the season -- he lowered his ERA to 1.93 with a 0.88 WHIP and 46:11 K:BB through six starts (37.1 innings). Wheeler will look to keep rolling in his next outing, tentatively scheduled as a road matchup Tuesday against the Angels. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:03 pm
