    • Nico Hoerner back in lineup Tuesday vs. Braves
Nico Hoerner (hamstring) is back in the lineup for Tuesday’s series opener against the Braves.

Advice: It’s an extremely encouraging development for fantasy managers as Hoerner is back at second base and batting sixth on Tuesday night at Wrigley Field following a six-game absence due to left hamstring tightness. The hope here is that he received enough time off to put the issue to bed completely. Rotoworld 38 minutes ago

    • Returns to lineup Tuesday
Hoerner (hamstring) will start at second base and bat sixth in Tuesday's game versus Atlanta.

Advice: Hoerner hasn't played in more than a week due to a left hamstring injury, but he's finally feeling well enough to give it a go Tuesday. Dansby Swanson is also back from an injured-list stint, so the Cubs will have their middle-infield duo back together for the first time since May 7. Rotowire.com 49 minutes ago

    • Heading to bench Sunday
Rosario is out of the lineup for Sunday's game at Toronto.

Advice: Rosario started the first two games of the series but will take a seat Sunday after going 3-for-9 with two RBI and three strikeouts. Richie Palacios will man the keystone in the series finale. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:47 am

    • Remains out Sunday
Hoerner (hamstring) is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates, Andy Martinez of Marquee Sports Network reports.

Advice: Make it six straight absences for Hoerner, who continues to nurse a sore left hamstring. He was still hoping to avoid the injured list as of Friday, but it's reasonable to think Hoerner to the IL could be the move to accommodate the return of Dansby Swanson (knee) on Tuesday. Nick Madrigal has been serving as the Cubs' primary second baseman in Hoerner's absence. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:40 am

    • Nico Hoerner (hamstring) remains out Sunday
Nico Hoerner (hamstring) is not in the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Pirates.

Advice: Hoerner is going to miss a sixth straight game while recovering from tightness in his left hamstring. The 27-year-old is considered day-to-day, but a trip to the injured list can’t completely be ruled out. Nick Madrigal is the starting second baseman and will hit seventh against the Pirates on Sunday. Rotoworld Sunday, 8:36 am

    • Perfect at plate Saturday
Freeman went 4-for-4 with a walk, a double, three runs, three RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 11-4 victory versus Minnesota.

Advice: Freeman batted out of the leadoff spot for the sixth straight contest and broke out with the first four-hit game of his career. Among those knocks was a run-scoring double and a two-run single. Freeman is still batting just .221 on the season, but he may be rounding into form, as he's gone 8-for-17 with a 4:1 BB:K during his current five-game hitting streak. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:12 pm

    • Freeman has four-hit game Saturday
Tyler Freeman went 4-for-4 with a double, a walk, three runs scored, three RBI and a stolen base against the Twins on Saturday.

Advice: Freeman continues to occupy the leadoff spot for Cleveland despite a .221 average. The stolen base was his sixth of the season. It was a huge game for Freeman, who remains merely a deep league option.

    • Launches homer Friday
Neto went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in a 9-3 win against the Rangers on Friday.

Advice: Neto broke a 1-1 tie in the fourth inning with a 405-foot, two-run blast to left field. The shortstop has homered in consecutive contests after going deep just once through his first 13 games in May. Neto is enjoying a strong month overall, slashing .308/.345/.519 with three homers, five RBI, seven runs and two stolen bases over 15 contests. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:31 am

    • Out again Saturday
Hoerner (hamstring) isn't in the Cubs' lineup for Saturday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: Saturday marks the fifth game in a row that Hoerner has missed due to a sore left hamstring. The Cubs have been hopeful that the infielder would be able to avoid the injured list, but manager Craig Counsell said Friday that Hoerner may need to spend time on the IL if his hamstring continues to bother him. Nick Madrigal and Miles Mastrobuoni will once again serve as the Cubs' middle infielders Saturday. Rotowire.com Saturday, 9:56 am
