      Rodon (9-3) allowed five runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out seven over five innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Red Sox.

      Advice: Rodon had posted a quality start in each outing during his seven-game winning streak, but both impressive stretches were snapped Saturday. The Red Sox put up all five runs against Rodon during the first two innings, and the Yankees' offense wasn't able to muster a comeback. The southpaw still has a strong 3.28 ERA with a 1.11 WHIP and 81:23 K:BB through 85 innings over 15 starts this year.       Raleigh went 1-for-3 with a walk, one RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 7-5 win over the Rangers.

      Advice: Raleigh has two steals this year, and they've both come over his last 10 games. In that span, he's gone 8-for-35 (.229) with three extra-base hits and 10 RBI. The catcher is slashing .209/.287/.400 with 12 home runs, 43 RBI and 27 runs scored over 67 contests this year. Raleigh is unlikely to ever hit for a good average, but he has the ability to make an impact with power and run production, especially when hitting in the heart of the order.     • Jared Jones allows six runs in loss to Rockies
      Jared Jones allowed six runs over his 4 2/3 innings while picking up a loss to the Rockies on Saturday.

      Advice: Jones was not great, and the Pittsburgh bullpen allowed 10 more runs to score in a 16-4 blowout loss to the Rockies. The right-hander gave up six hits, and he also walked four on a night where the command just wasn’t there for the 22-year-old. He still was able to strike out six, and his rookie campaign has certainly been a success even with a couple of so-so outings as of late.       Kirby (6-5) allowed an unearned run on three hits and two walks while striking out six over six innings to earn the win Saturday over the Rangers.

      Advice: This was Kirby's first time issuing multiple walks since his season debut, as he continues to have some of the best control in the majors. The right-hander has allowed two or fewer runs in each of his last four starts after a pair of five-run outings in mid-May. He's now at a 3.54 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 84:9 K:BB over 86.1 innings through 15 starts this year. Kirby is projected to make his next start at Miami in a highly favorable matchup.     • Trevor Megill snags 12th save
      Trevor Megill closed out a 3-1 win over the Reds for his 12th save of the season.

      Advice: It wasn’t a flawless inning for Megill, who did allow a walk, a hit, and a run; however, he got the job done. He now has a 2.25 ERA on the season and has been a steadying presence for the Brewers at the end of games. Even though he will lose his job as closer when Devin Williams returns, he’ll remain a valuable reliever for the Brewers and needs to simply be held in fantasy leagues because you’re unlikely to get much trying to trade him away when everybody knows his time accruing saves is coming to a close within the month.       Megill notched a save against the Reds on Saturday, allowing one run on one hit and one walk in one inning.

      Advice: A trio of Milwaukee pitchers combined to shut out Cincinnati over eight innings before the ball was handed to Megill for the ninth. The right-hander didn't make things easy, issuing a walk and a run-scoring double before getting his first out, but he was ultimately able to slam the door for the save. Megill has been great in his first venture as a closer this season, going 12-for-13 in save tries while posting a 2.25 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 25:6 K:BB over 20 innings. He appears to have a firm grasp on ninth-inning duties for the Brewers, at least until Devin Williams (back) is able to return from the injured list, potentially in the latter half of July.     • Carlos Rodon gives up five runs in loss to Red Sox
      Carlos Rodon struggled in Saturday night’s loss to the Red Sox, surrendering five runs on seven hits over his five innings of work.

      Advice: The 31-year-old southpaw still managed to punch out seven batters on the evening while issuing three free passes. The Red Sox jumped on him in the opening inning, using run-scoring knocks from Tyler O’Neill, Connor Wong and Jaime Westbrook to push three runs across. They added another pair in the second on a two-run double by Rafael Devers. Rodon generated 18 swings and misses on 109 pitches on the night — eight of those on his fastball — while posting a CSW of 28 percent. He’ll look to bounce back as he totes an impressive 3.28 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and an 81/23 K/B ratio (85 innings) into a tough matchup against the Braves on Saturday. Rotoworld Today, 7:32 pm

      Ramos went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in a 4-3 loss to the Angels on Saturday.

      Advice: Ramos did all the damage for the Giants on Saturday, hitting a two-run home run off Patrick Sandoval in the first inning and adding an RBI double in the fifth. He later doubled again in the seventh. Ramos has been absolutely raking in June, hitting .392 with six home runs, 17 RBI and eight multi-hit games.     • George Kirby allows just unearned run in win
      George Kirby didn’t allow an earned run while working six innings to get a win over the Rangers on Saturday.

      Advice: He did allow an unearned run, and it’s worth pointing out he was the one who made the error. Kirby walked two, which makes this the first game since March 29 that the right-hander has walked more than one hitter in a game. The right-hander made up for it by striking out six in another strong start for the 26-year-old. Kirby has now allowed just four runs in his last four starts, and his ERA has lowered to 3.54, and his career ERA against Texas is a sparkling 1.08.
