    Brendan Donovan laced a go-ahead two-run single into left field in the eighth inning on Saturday night, propelling the Cardinals to a 7-6 victory over the Cubs.

    Advice: The Cardinals entered the eighth inning trailing 4-3, but that was erased on an RBI single by Matt Carpenter. Donovan then followed with a two-run single to give the Cardinals the lead, then he scored on an RBI triple off the bat of Lars Nootbaar.     Spencer Steer homered for the second consecutive game on Saturday, helping to power the Reds to a 3-1 victory over the visiting Dodgers.

    Advice: Steer got the scoring started in the opening inning on Saturday, crushing a 362-foot (94.9 mph EV) solo shot off of Walker Buehler.     Aranda went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a double in Saturday's 7-4 extra-innings loss to the Royals.

    Advice: Aranda got the Rays on the board when he took Brady Singer deep in the fourth inning. The homer was Aranda's first of the season, and this was his second multi-hit effort over 11 contests since he recovered from a broken finger suffered just before Opening Day. He's batting .242 with a .718 OPS, two RBI and six runs scored over 37 plate appearances.     Jonathan Aranda doubled and homered in an extra-innings loss to the Royals on Saturday.

    Advice: Aranda blistered a solo homer off Brady Singer for his first roundtripper of the season. The double was the second. Aranda missed six weeks with a broken right finger, and his slash of .242/.324/.394 is likely to see a bump as he sees more regular playing time over the summer.     Seth Brown went 2-for-4 with a stolen base Saturday in a victory over the Astros.

It was his second homer in three games. Though, he’s collected only three hits in his last seven.     Advice: The Orioles were held scoreless going into the eighth inning. With a runner on, O’Hearn ended the shutout with a two-run blast off Jordan Leasure to bring the Orioles to within one run.
