    • Turns in quality start
Stone allowed three runs on four hits and two walks while striking out three over seven innings in a no-decision versus the Royals on Friday.

Advice: Stone's three-start winning streak was snapped, but he picked up his first quality start over three outings in June. The right-hander has been steady this year -- this was just the fourth time in 13 starts he's given up three or more runs. He's now at a 3.01 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 56:23 K:BB over 74.2 innings. Stone is projected to make his next start at Colorado. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:44 pm

    • Freddie Freeman drives in go-ahead run in eighth
Freddie Freeman singled in the go-ahead run in the eighth inning to give the Dodgers a 4-3 win over the Royals on Friday.

Advice: With the score tied at 3-3, Freeman drove in a run with an RBI single to give the Dodgers a 4-3 lead and ultimately the victory. The 34-year-old has now driven in 42 runs, and nine of those have come in the first half of June. To the surprise of absolutely no one, Freeman remains one of the best first baseman — and hitters regardless of position — in the sport. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:19 pm

    • Cole Ragans holds Dodgers to three over seven
Cole Ragans picked up no-decision after allowing three runs in seven innings of work against the Dodgers on Friday.

Advice: Ragans struck out four and walked one. He scattered six hits allowed, but two of those were homers from Miguel Rojas and Chris Taylor. Even with the roundtrippers it’s another quality outing from the 26-year-old, albeit one that doesn’t come with many strikeouts nor a win. Ragans is back on the bump with a very friendly on-paper matchup next week against the A’s. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:19 pm

    • Gavin Stone surrenders three over seven vs. KC
Gavin Stone didn’t factor into the decision Saturday against the Royals after allowing three runs over seven innings with three strikeouts.

Advice: Stone allowed four hits and walked two while throwing 61-of-94 pitches in the strike zone. The 25-year-old allowed all three runs on a long roundtripper by Salvador Perez. Minus that gaffe, it was another solid start for Stone against a pretty tough Kansas City lineup. He’s currently scheduled to face the Rockies on Thursday in Colorado. • Falls to Yankees
Bello (6-4) took the loss Friday against the Yankees, allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits and three walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out five.

Advice: Bello surrendered a two-run homer to Alex Verdugo in the first inning before the Yankees tacked on two more runs in the fifth. It's been a tough stretch for the 25-year-old, who's struggled to a 7.04 ERA over his last six starts. Bello's ERA sits at 5.00 on the season with a 1.40 WHIP and 56:24 K:BB across 63 innings. He'll look to get back on track in his next outing, currently scheduled for next week in Toronto. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:51 pm
    • Big night vs. former team
Verdugo went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double and four total RBI in Friday's 8-1 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: It was a memorable return to Fenway Park for Verdugo, who belted a two-run homer on the first pitch he saw in the first inning from Brayan Bello before driving in two more runs later in the game. It was Verdugo's first homer since May 29 -- he's up to nine long balls on the season, just four shy of his career high. The 28-year-old outfielder is slashing .266/.319/.438 with 41 RBI and 35 runs scored through 69 games this year. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:09 pm
    • Alex Verdugo exacts revenge in return to Fenway
Alex Verdugo exacted revenge in his return to Fenway Park on Friday night, going 3-for-5 with a homer, double and four RBI as the Yankees vanquished the Red Sox 8-1.

Advice: Verdugo brought the pain on the first pitch that he saw in his former home park, blasting a 406-foot (104.0 mph EV) two-run shot to give the Yankees an early 2-0 lead that they wouldn’t relinquish. He also added an RBI double in the fifth inning that made it a 4-1 ballgame and capped off the scoring with a two-out RBI single in the ninth inning. With his three-hit attack, the 28-year-old outfielder is now hitting .266/.319/.438 to go along with nine homers and 40 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:48 pm
    • Brayan Bello struggles in loss to Yankees Friday
Brayan Bello was hit hard in Friday night’s loss to the Yankees, surrendering five runs (four earned) on six hits over his 4 2/3 innings of work.

Advice: The right-hander also issued three free passes on the evening while striking out five. Former teammate Alex Verdugo delivered most of the damage against him in this one, clobbering a two-run homer in the opening inning and adding an RBI double in the fifth. Bello got seven swings and misses on 92 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of 29 percent. He’ll look to bounce back as he carries a 4.86 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and a 56/24 K/BB ratio (63 innings) into Wednesday’s matchup against the Blue Jays in Toronto. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:47 pm
    • Taking seat Friday
Moreno is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the White Sox.

Advice: Moreno will yield to the lefty-hitting Tucker Barnhart on Friday with RHP Chris Flexen starting for the White Sox. In June, Moreno is batting .278 with six extra-base hits, seven runs and five RBI. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:39 pm
