    • Takes loss vs Astros
Maeda (2-3) allowed four runs in five innings, he gave up five hits and two walks while striking out one on Sunday vs the Astros.

Advice: Maeda got tagged early as he gave up all four runs in the first two frames, with the three-run homer to Jose Altuve being the costly hit. He managed to settle in as he faced the minimum nine hitters over the next three frames to get through five innings. Maeda has now given up at least four runs in five of his 11 starts this season. The veteran righty will take a 6.02 ERA into his next start as he still tries to find a rhythm with his new club. Rotowire.com 5 minutes ago

    • Back on bench Sunday
Wells is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.

Advice: Wells will sit for the second time in the series after making his lone start in Saturday's 8-1 win. Though he's gone 5-for-15 with a home run and walk in his last five games, Wells still appears to be stuck in a timeshare at catcher with Jose Trevino. Rotowire.com 8 minutes ago

    • Bleday has two hits in loss Sunday
JJ Bleday went 2-for-4 with a double against the Twins on Sunday.

Advice: It was a quiet afternoon for the Athletics offense as they managed only two runs in the loss to the Twins. Bleday had two hits, though, and is now 7-for-18 (.388) over his last five games. The third-year outfielder is currently enjoying his best season with a .773 OPS. Rotoworld 9 minutes ago

    • Lewis blasts sixth home run in win Sunday
Royce Lewis went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk against the Athletics on Sunday.

Advice: Lewis continues to mash the ball since returning from the injured list. He’s now hit six home runs in 42 plate appearances this season. It’s a tiny sample size, but he’s hitting .395 with a .526 ISO on the year.

    • Correa hammers three hits, two home runs Sunday
Carlos Correa went 3-for-5 with two home runs, two runs scored, and 3 RBI against the Athletics on Sunday.

Advice: Correa continues his hot streak at the dish. The two home runs give him eight total on the season and his average is up to .306 with an .879 OPS. He’s been as good as a player can be in fantasy without stealing bases.

    • Sears gives up nine hits, four runs in loss Sunday
JP Sears allowed four runs in 4 1/3 innings and took the loss against the Twins on Sunday.

Advice: Sears gave up nine hits, walked four and struck out one. Three of the hits allowed were home runs. Despite a 16 percent strikeout percentage, Sears has been somewhat usable in fantasy at home as he has a 3.31 ERA in six home starts. Otherwise, he’s off the fantasy radar. The 28-year-old left-hander is set to face the Twins at home next week.

    • Exits with elbow soreness Sunday
Blue Jays manager John Schneider said after Sunday's 7-6 win over the Guardians that Garcia was removed from the contest in the ninth inning with right elbow soreness, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports. "We'll see how he is and know more later [Sunday or Monday]."

Advice: Called upon for the save chance with the Blue Jays holding a 7-4 lead entering the top of the ninth, Garcia lacked his usual command in the relief appearance. After inducing a leadoff popout from Kyle Manzardo, Garcia surrendered a base hit to Daniel Schneemann before serving up a two-run home run to Brayan Rocchio. He then got Bo Naylor to foul out before getting lifted from the game after serving up back-to-back singles to Steven Kwan and Tyler Freeman. Nate Pearson came on with two outs and runners on the corners to put out the fire and enable Garcia to earn his 10th hold of the season, but Garcia's health now becomes the greater concern. If Garcia's elbow issue is serious enough for him to join Jordan Romano (elbow) on the injured list, the Blue Jays could turn to Pearson, Chad Green and Tim Mayza to handle any future save chances that may arise. • Ober allows one run in win over Athletics Sunday
Bailey Ober allowed one run in 6 1/3 innings and got the win in the Twins’ 6-2 victory over the Athletics on Sunday.

Advice: Ober gave up six hits, walked two and struck out eight. The win was his sixth of the year. The lone run off of Ober came on a Daz Cameron home run in the seventh inning. Home runs have been a problem for him this season. Ober has allowed 1.48 HR/9, which has been a contributing factor as to why his ERA is 4.81 despite a 4.04 xFIP. The 28-year-old right-hander is set to face the Athletics on the road next week.

    • Homers, steals bag in win
Altuve went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer, two runs and a stolen base in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Tigers.

Advice: With two men on and two out in the second inning, Altuve took Kenta Maeda deep for his 11th long ball of the season. He added another hit and when he reached on a walk in the eighth he picked up his 10th stolen base of the campaign. It was Altuve's second home run in his last seven games after a streak of 17 games without a blast. The second baseman's has been hot as of late, hitting .333 in June and for the season he's slashing a healthy .299/.350/.460. Rotowire.com 17 minutes ago
