    Marte (knee) is starting in right field and batting fifth Saturday against the Phillies, Abbey Mastracco of the New York Daily News reports.

    Advice: A knee issue forced Marte to be scratched from New York's lineup prior to Wednesday's contest, but the problem appears to have subsided ahead of New York's two-game series against Philly in London.   • Ozuna smacks two doubles in loss Friday
    Marcell Ozuna went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two doubles against the Nationals on Friday.

    Advice: On a night when the Braves offense had only four hits against Nationals starter Jake Irvin, Ozuna managed to double off Irvin twice.   • Blasts 18th homer
    Ozuna went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run in a 5-2 win against Washington on Thursday.

    Advice: Ozuna gave Atlanta some breathing room with his two-run, eighth-inning blast that extended his team's lead from one run to three. It was the slugger's 18th long ball of the campaign, moving him into fourth place in the majors.   • Verdugo gets a day off after tremendous catch
    Alex Verdugo is not in the Yankees lineup on Thursday following a tremendous catch to secure Wednesday night’s win over the Twins.

    Advice: There is some speculation that Verdugo is a bit banged up after his run-saving catch in left field. There are no indications as of yet that there is any kind of serious injury, but the Yankees are likely just giving him a day to rest up.     Advice: It's a rare day off for Verdugo, who is hitless in eight plate appearances in the first two games of the series, although he did contribute a sacrifice fly in Wednesday's contest.     Nick Castellanos swatted a two-run homer on Wednesday, lifting the Phillies to a 2-0 victory over the Brewers.

    Advice: Castellanos connected for a 402-foot blast off Brewers southpaw Aaron Ashby in the fifth inning for his eighth big fly of the season. It wound up being the lone tally for either side in a rare low-scoring showdown at Citizens Bank Park and was more than enough run support for Aaron Nola and the Phillies’ bullpen in this one.     Castellanos went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 2-0 win over the Brewers.

    Advice: The veteran outfielder provided the game's only offense by taking Aaron Ashby deep in the fifth inning. Castellanos is beginning to climb out of his early season hole, batting .270 (17-for-63) over his last 16 games with four of his eight homers on the season, along with 11 runs and 11 RBI.   • Scratched due to knee issue
    Mets manager Carlos Mendoza said Marte was scratched from the lineup prior to Wednesday's game in Washington due to a right knee issue, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

    Advice: Though he played all nine innings of Tuesday's 6-3 win while going 1-for-3 with a triple, a walk, two runs and two RBI, Marte informed the Mets on Wednesday that his knee was bothering him at points during the previous night's game. The Mets elected to scratch Marte from the lineup for the series finale as a matter of precaution, but Mendoza said that he has a low level of concern for the outfielder's injury. Marte will still be available off the bench Wednesday, and with off days Thursday and Friday, the expectation is that he'll be back in the lineup Saturday for the start of the Mets' two-game series in London versus the Phillies.
