      Steven Kwan went 2-for-3 with a pair of singles and a walk as the Guardians were shut out by the Angels on Friday night.

      Advice: As a team, the Guardians were only able to muster six hits and a pair of walks on the night, so Kwan definitely did his part. He has been a tremendous catalyst atop the Guardians’ lineup this season, slashing a robust .356/.406/.500 with three homers, 11 RBI and three stolen bases through his first 31 ballgames.       Arozarena went 1-for-2 with three walks, a solo home run and a second run scored in Friday's 10-8 win over the Mets.

      Advice: The 29-year-old outfielder has had a brutal start to 2024 that includes what would be a career-high 29.1 percent strikeout rate and a career-low .455 OPS, but Arozarena came through with a solid performance in a wild win. His fourth-inning long ball off Dedniel Nunez was his fourth homer in 32 games to go along with four steals, and Arozarena has contributed a respectable 14 runs and 15 RBI despite his woeful .145/.242/.265 slash line.     • Randy Arozarena blasts mammoth homer as Rays win
      Randy Arozarena blasted a 445-foot home run on Friday, helping to power the Rays to a 10-8 victory over the Mets.

      Advice: Wearing the Rays’ new city connect uniforms for the first time, the slumping 29-year-old outfielder appeared to be re-energized. He drew a walk in the third inning and came around to score on a sacrifice fly by Alex Jackson. Arozarena then demolished a 1-1 fastball from Dedniel Nunez in the fourth inning, belting his 445-foot (109.1 mph) solo shot. He also walked in the sixth and eighth innings, finishing the night 1-for-2 with a pair of runs scored.       Morel went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 3-1 loss to the Brewers.

      Advice: Morel snapped a scoreless tie with two outs in the sixth inning, launching a solo shot to centerfield off Joe Ross to put the Cubs ahead 1-0. Morel now has homers in back-to-back games and three in his last five contests following a span of 16 games without a long ball. The 24-year-old third baseman is now slashing .210/.286/.403 through 133 plate appearances this year with six homers, 18 RBI, 19 runs scored and three stolen bases.       Christopher Morel connected on a three-run homer Thursday in an extra-inning loss to the Mets.

      Advice: Morel extended the Cubs’ lead to 4-0 in the fifth with a three-run blast off Adrian Houser. The second-year infielder has gone deep five times, and he’s now up to 17 RBI over Chicago’s 32 games.       Kwan went 3-for-5 with a triple, a double and two RBI in Wednesday's 3-2 extra-inning win over the Astros.

      Advice: Kwan's RBI triple in the fifth inning gave the Guardians a 2-0 lead, and he plated the decisive run with a double in the 10th. He ended up a home run short of the cycle in Wednesday's strong performance. The leadoff hitter has gone 11-for-28 (.393) during his seven-game hitting streak, and he's slashing an excellent .360/.403/.512 with three homers, 11 RBI, 27 runs scored, three stolen bases, six doubles and two triples over 29 contests this season.       Advice: Steer advanced to a perfect 8-for-8 on steal attempts this season and belted his fourth home run of the campaign -- and his first since April 6 -- off of Joe Musgrove in the first inning.       Steven Kwan went 3-for-5 with a triple, double, and two RBI in a 3-2 win over the Astros on Wednesday.

      Advice: After knocking a base hit in the first inning, Kwan drove in a run with a triple in the fifth. He came through in a big spot in the tenth, driving in the go-ahead run with a double. Kwan capped off his day with a game-ending diving catch in the bottom of the inning.       Spencer Steer clobbered a solo homer on Wednesday in the Reds’ loss to the Padres.

      Advice: Steer kicked off the scoring with a solo shot to left-center field -- his fourth round-tripper of the season -- off Padres starter Joe Musgrove in the opening frame. It was the first time he’s gone deep since April 6, snapping a bizarre 22-game homerless drought.
